apart from the cost, which can feel, I keep forgetting why it is not a good idea?

pants are not entirely flameproof so please don't go mad with judgemental joy

Because it's sometimes mixed with laxatives (why? why do they ever do that)

It fucks up your nerve endings, sleep patterns and will turn you into a boring chattering annoying wanker.

I lost SO many friends when I did coke and I only did it for a short time.. once I kicked a friend in the head to prove I could. See? Wanker.

LordOfTheFlies · 12/06/2011 01:19

YABVU asking us to "remind me why coke is BAD".

Is it meant to be funny or niave??

Go onto any Gov health site and find out.

And yes I probably am intolerant by alot of your standards but Hey Fucking Ho.

spiderslegs · 12/06/2011 01:21

Oily, not regularly, simularly.

Every two weeks.

Really.

DH & I do, he/we are big/idiotic earners.....

ZXEightyMum · 12/06/2011 01:21

OP are you a name-changer? You've only posted on this thread and one other, again about coke.

I have to second JarethTheGoblinKing though. Best anti-drug argument I have ever heard, sod the health or ethical implications. A boring blathering cunt-making substance indeed Grin

spiderslegs · 12/06/2011 01:22

Is Coke bad?????

really???

Is it ?????

discobeaver · 12/06/2011 01:23

Oily I reckon your problem is the fact that most coke is only about 8% pure. So you need to do it all the time to feel anything.
A trip to Souh Amdrica should sort you out.
Everyone saying it turns you into a boring twat etc - alcohol is far worse for boring twatiness imo. Folk in the pub garden haven't stopped howling and blathering for hours.

discobeaver · 12/06/2011 01:23

South America. I'm not on anything, honest.

ButtonAzure · 12/06/2011 01:24

if you got caught with some you'd face prison.

spiderslegs · 12/06/2011 01:24

Jareth-the-goblin king

expatinscotland · 12/06/2011 01:24

because it causes the deaths of tens of thousands of people every year, many of them teenagers/children, untold environmental distruction, it funds terrorism, it's responsible for the ruination of millions of peoples' lives through no fault of their own and sentences millions, including many children, to lives of slavery and misery.

need more?

i'll go and dig up teh story of the mexican man who got on the wrong side of a cartel battle to traffic that shit up - and his face was sewn to a football and kicked onto the steps of a courtyard.

or the party in acapulco a few months ago, for a 15-year-old girl, where she and 35 other teens were shot to death.

or the 74 bodies found earlier this year, all slaughtered to death bar one 17-year-old kid who may not be alive any more, in n. mexico, all males in their teens or early adulthood trafficed up by gangs or even kidnapped to sell that shit.

i'm just getting started . . . .

NolanSister · 12/06/2011 01:25

Lots of fun. But if you become so detached from reality that you think Oily Snatch is a good idea for a username, then you are probably doing too much.

OilySnatch · 12/06/2011 01:26

ZXEighty, yes am name changer. I might keep this name, depends whether can cope with how I feel when I wake up tomorrow and remember this thread.

OP posts:
LadyBeagleEyes · 12/06/2011 01:27

Because it's addictive and from what you say, you're already addicted.
You'll spend every penny you have on it and your habit will just get bigger and bigger so I hope you have shedloads of money.
And yes I've used it in the past.
Oh and your nose will possibly fall off.

OilySnatch · 12/06/2011 01:28

God, it's an improvement on my usual name.

Is that cognitive dissonance, knowing what a vile industry it is and supporting it anyway?

OP posts:
LordOfTheFlies · 12/06/2011 01:29

expat his face sewn to a football??
As in skin stripped off and wrapped round?? Words fail me.

Get the information.-please.
I think some of the posters here need a rude wake-up.

PamBeesly · 12/06/2011 01:32

OilySnatch you can be as aware as you like, as expat pointed out, its horrific...whether you take it is up to you...there will be support if you want to quit. Some people don't want to quit because they enjoy it too much. But the 'enjoyment' at what cost? To you, your health, society...still not wanting to judge...I can't.

ZXEightyMum · 12/06/2011 01:33

Eek Oily, I am been in the same position many times during the last four years including a de-reg in a fit of pique. Now I save myself the trouble and just name-change every few weeks whether I have been a massive twat or just a minor one.

Hope you get the answers you are looking for.

NolanSister · 12/06/2011 01:33

Cognitive dissonance? That's a bit fancy-schmancy. I think disingenuous is the word used here.

spiders-legs, yes? Confused

IMO at least pissed people can be amusing, can function semi-normally. Coke makes people totally ignorant to the people around them. It turns you into a selfish wanker who doesn't give a shit about anything (or mobile phone salesmen, if you want another term)

OilySnatch · 12/06/2011 01:40

I de-reg'd recently and don't remember why.

Anyway that is horrible food for thought. I don't think I started using it just to have fun, that thread about how to cheer yourself up reminds me that have always been capable of that. I think I use it to bring myself up level to my normal state. That's another horrible thought.

OP posts:
OilySnatch · 12/06/2011 01:42

I've got older children and one dependent.

I don't want to have a problem. Wonder if there is a way of not having a problem without addressing whatever underlying yuckiness prompted it?
