Its awkward, it itches like a bastard when it grows back and looks daft but DP REALLY likes it, and it has a forgone conclusion AIBU to do something that i dont particularly like to arouse my partner - akin to making him a cup of tea, its nice to do things for people you love. Or am i letting the side down?

Yes, that's a thought, make him shave too And I would also recommend waxing. Not nice at the beginning, gets better every time, and lasts forever. No itching involved ;-)

Lady Garden problem solved - use Magic Powder (yes thats what its called). Its a powder that is mixed with water and it was designed for black mens beards. Now if you think about it, black men have very curly hair and you don't get bumps, razor burn, ingrowing hairs etc and its not particularly itchy when it grows back. Lasts longer than shaving but not quite as long as waxing.

I usually wax then shave everything that the salon doesn't do.

Boots has a really good product that minimises ingrown hairs so I use that too if I'm shaving all over instead if waxing :-)

Only realised it was a zombie thread when I saw Fabbychic. I was really excited. Feel v disappointed now.

Tmi..my dp trims. I can't stand it. He does a really poor job so it looks like its wearing one of those really bad patchy wigs you get from eBay.

He says he does it to keep it tamed. I personally thinkk he thinks it looks bigger.

I can't stand shaving but dh prefers that I do. I compromise and trim the jungle.
