Its awkward, it itches like a bastard when it grows back and looks daft but DP REALLY likes it, and it has a forgone conclusion Grin AIBU to do something that i dont particularly like to arouse my partner - akin to making him a cup of tea, its nice to do things for people you love. Or am i letting the side down?

RevoltingPeasant · 10/06/2011 22:39

Right. Hmm. Eyebrows?

Valpollicella · 10/06/2011 22:40
Shock

Does he? Why???

And ugh at a bald scrotum. They need the coverage!

Valpollicella · 10/06/2011 22:40

Armpits. With an epilator...

smartyparts · 10/06/2011 22:41

Wax - don't shave = no stubble!

passivelyaggresive · 10/06/2011 22:42

jon snige???

Why val? I have no idea!!! (wonders if he likes to make his cock look bigger) He did shave it completely bald once, i was hysterical Grin so now he just trims it back.

pa you are droll droll droll

heh heh

FrameyMcFrame · 10/06/2011 22:46

It's not all about what he likes though is it? You don't like it and I don't blame you. There's a good reason for that! Don't do things that make you feel uncomfortable.

Incidentally I think it's more a porn thing than a pre-pubescent thing nowadays.
All porn has shaven fanniess, mainly because it makes it easier to see what's going on down there, i.e the action.
Most men watch porn and therefore have conditioned themselves to be aroused by bald fannies. I wouldn't take it as much of a compliment

ZXEightyMum · 10/06/2011 22:47

I trim / thin out and strim the edges. I used to get ingrowing hairs on the bikini line but a tip from MN (via porn stars Grin) about spraying deodorant on it sorted that out.

I wouldn't do the whole lot completely, it's fucking uncomfortable, sod what DH thinks.

passivelyaggresive · 10/06/2011 22:52

The good reason i dont like it is framey is because its a pain in the sodding arse to do and it itches when it grows back. I dont do it very often, its a bit like women who give blow jobs when they don't actually like the actual thing that much, its a bit of an effort really - its a big turn on when your partner is turned on. And it does feel so much better for oral

Quite happy about the porn connotation, we watch a fair bit of it, me more than him and i tend to agree with you - its about being able to see more, um, detail!! lol

I will however take it as a compliment though, my DP always makes me feel sexy, shaved puss or not - i wouldnt do it for him if it didint

FabbyChic · 10/06/2011 22:55

Mine never itches, you are probably using the wrong razors, use Gillette Lady razors work a treat.

Dolcegusto · 10/06/2011 23:06

I use veet, doesn't itch at all.

Mumcentreplus · 10/06/2011 23:09

My DH shaves mine for me Grin...and it's never totally bald I couldn't bare a wax..all the body shapes you have to do to make sure it's all off..not my style..but when the bush gets out of control and needs a trim...

I do however find it strange if a man is put off and or freaked out by a woman in her natural state...

passivelyaggresive · 10/06/2011 23:12

yeah i wouldnt like that either mumcentre. It is definately not the "norm" for us, but its a special treat innit :) He is more enthusiastic about oral sex at that time. I did use to let him shave mine for me, but to be honest, hes rubbish at it. I let him do it with a cut throat razor once, hows that for trust, i have never kept so still in my life and we didnt do it again!

PintOfStellaAndBuckfastChaser · 10/06/2011 23:13

My DP is the opposite OP, he loves the big 1970's style bushes! I don't.

I shave because I prefer the feel of my bits without hair, especially in the summer when it's warm. However, I do leave a big 'patch' at the top, to keep him happy.

However, I got abit carried away once, trying to make a straight line, ended up taking it all off, and he refused to come near me until it started to grow back Hmm

GooGooGadget · 10/06/2011 23:19

if you hardly ever do it, then YABU to be moaning about it. You don't do it because he likes it, you do it because he's going to go down on you Grin

ZXEightyMum · 10/06/2011 23:28

When having a natural lady-garden was acceptable in the early nineties and I had time to be creative (pre-children) I found that a heart-shape was very easy to do. Just a little curvy wedge to shave out and voilà!

I did it then panicked and thought about being mown down by a bus and oh, the scandal when the paramedics arrived! I could just imagine awaking from a near-fatal coma to my Mother hissing at me that I had brought shame upon my family...

RunAwayWife · 10/06/2011 23:43

TMI ALERT TMI ALERT TMI ALERT TMI ALERT

I shaved before going on holiday and a hair decided to re-grow inwards resulting in a boil the size of a £2 coin and a weeks worth of anti biotics. I wont even get started on the pain......
NEVER again

GooGooGadget · 10/06/2011 23:45

a £2 coin you say?

Mumcentreplus · 10/06/2011 23:45

@ZXEighty surely that is the point ...to make your mother hiss...she still loves you..

Mumcentreplus · 10/06/2011 23:46

Bluddy hell passive..cut-throat razor??.I I thought I was brave with a clipper!!..Grin

Mumcentreplus · 10/06/2011 23:48

fucking hell a 2 pounder!!!...I bet that was a good squeeze ...

BitOfFun · 10/06/2011 23:48

I get folliculitis if I shave too much. I say Bring Back The Bush Grin

Mumcentreplus · 10/06/2011 23:53

I agree..lets all be bushtastic!!...but the buck/bush stops at fanny hairs that can be plaited & styled..lol Grin
