We are looking to buy and we can just about stretch to 245K. We have 2 dcs, dd1 2yrs old and dd2 6mth. Can i ask mn for opinions?

OP there is nothing at all wrong with this house. It's clean, light and in good condition and would make a lovely family home.
I'm shocked by the rudeness of some of the posters on here, I agree with Menagerie that they have no vision as things like the hob and bedroom cupboards can be easily changed. I'm guessing anyway that you might not have much furniture so a fitted bedroom could be a big plus for you.
I live in quite an ugly house with a tiny kitchen and bathroom and sometimes it does feel very cramped with 2 DC running around. But so what! We're happy here until we can afford something bigger and better.
