No, I don't like it.

Yes, I would be willing to fuck off elsewhere.

Anyone got any ideas where I can go where the delicate flowers DON'T crumple when being told yes, actually, YABU?

(And Hully, don't you come on here telling me to feel the love, cos I will swing for you.)

I have been saying for a long long time that the forces of Po are upon us

Psammead · 06/06/2011 11:35

Oh crap. I laughed so hard at King Knog I've done me flaming back in.

I sense a Moldies 2 coming on, recently. All the weird threads make me want to troll and be as inane and nonsensical as I possibly can be just because. A bit like wanting to throw yourself off a bridge when you're standing there looking down.

This post was brought to you in a horizontal position from the floor. Ouch.

Hullygully · 06/06/2011 11:43

Ooo I want moldies 2. I want the chance to blackball and whisper and do all that stuff they never invited me to (barstards) first time round.

Of course, there is always the possibility I may not be invited again. That would really suck.

suetheslut · 06/06/2011 11:50

TheFlyingOnion

I'm new on here and even I have noticed how rude you can be.

CotesduRhone · 06/06/2011 11:52

I'm new. I think people are very rude here. And I like it! Grin

Primalscream · 06/06/2011 12:07

Isn't this all a bit pathetic?
who cares who posts on MN, it's a public forum FGS not a private club.
& It's only the saddo's who have MN as their religion who care - maybe get a life and then minor annoyances wouldn't be such a big deal.
er, er?

bupcakesandcunting · 06/06/2011 12:13

I actually agree with Primal, to a degree. I don't like the elite gang mentality of some posters because some of my favourite people here are new posters. I like anyone if they're not a total idiot and make me laugh on occasion.

I do, however, stand by my opinion that all of the kissy-wissy/why so mean Hun? stuff is fucking carp.

bibbitybobbityhat · 06/06/2011 12:17

This is not an oldies/newbies thing (on my part).

bupcakesandcunting · 06/06/2011 12:27

Same here bibbity. There are some old timers here who really boil my piss...

LadyBeagleEyes · 06/06/2011 12:32

Is it worse though?
I've been on since January and there's always a percentage of silly, whiny hunz. Just thought it was par for the course and I love the bitchy witty replies they get.
It brings out my inner bitch and is highly entertaining.
I love hunz lolz. Grin

Psammead · 06/06/2011 12:33

I think if you are going to start a stupid thread, you have to be prepared for being called stupid. Next time you may put more thought into the situation before asking for opinions which is a good thing all round.

There are ways of handling a flaming - making a thread calling people mean is certainly one way. Everyone has a right to do it. Everyone else has a right to tell them straight that they are being churlish. It's got nothing to do with oldies v. newbies and everything to do with thinkking before typing - something which is encouraged on MN.

WhereYouLeftIt · 06/06/2011 12:34

I'm inclined to think the delicate flowers will quickly tire of our sweary ways and will find other forums more to their taste. Those who like it here will stay. Sorted.

Fecklessdizzy · 06/06/2011 12:36

I like all the stroppyness and rudery, but then I'm a dripping wet hippy lightweight in RL so this is all very cathartic.

More swearing!

ginhag · 06/06/2011 12:39

Moldies #2 would be shit. Because I am not important enough to be invited, but can't fucking type without swearing.

And so would be condemned to wander for eternity in a wanky hun wilderness, trampling kittens underfoot. You bastards.

Hullygully · 06/06/2011 12:42

I've said it before, but don't care - sattitude, innit?

NunTheWiser · 06/06/2011 12:53

It's all got a bit... hormonal lately, hasn't it? Lots of dissolving into a puddle of snot and outrage because someone doesn't completely agree with an OP.

I retreat to the Doghouse quite often now. It smells a bit and there's a lot of stray pet hair, but got to be better than stepping on a hun or pile of xxxx Grin

bupcakesandcunting · 06/06/2011 12:54

Hully is wise.

allhailtheaubergine · 06/06/2011 13:00

I think it's okay to be nasty to anyone who uses lol as punctuation.

LadyBeagleEyes · 06/06/2011 13:11

I hate the nice as pie threads full of passive aggresive Smile s, which when you read properly are sticking the knife in in the nicest possible way

ShirleyKnot · 06/06/2011 13:27

Right. I think I have just read the last thread I can read without actually exploding. I'm off for a bit I think.

allhailtheaubergine · 06/06/2011 13:30

I bet it was the raining / lift one Grin

bupcakesandcunting · 06/06/2011 13:34

Shirley don't go. Don't leave meeeeeeeeeeee.....

LadyBeagleEyes · 06/06/2011 13:39

Oooh, where's the raining/lift one
Im tough I can take it.
