I can't believe that people really count this as someone's misfortune. Seriously.
This isn't a job in the sense that you or I apply for a job and are then gutted if it doesn't work out. People like CCheryl cole are employed for their talent/looks/image and they know full well that every job is done on borrowed time and that when your face no longer fits you go off down the road.
Any one of these plastic jobs in the public eye is just temporary, and they all know that.
She'll make money out of the headlines; some sad suckers will buy her album (because we'll no doubt be exposed to her music on the news/celeb gossip shows), and she will move on.
That is the life as a mindless celeb.
