That was probably me, 5inabed. We had some woman come on and ask about designing a toy or a game for a child with additional needs, and she seemed to want it to be all things to all children of every need and ability and age. So I, and a few others, advised her to narrow the specs down to thinking of a target audience, and a specific disability and she got very arsey about it all and ended up flouncing off.

I've had a look, but the thread has gone. We really just wanted her to understand that to try and make an item useful, she had to know what she was trying to achieve with it and her target audience, but she wouldn't have any of it and got very stroppy.
It didn't matter to her if the child had CP, CF, ASD, ADHD, visual impairment or hearing loss and she couldn't see why some of us thought that a generic board game concept could be so much more interesting and useful with a bit of thought.
Or it could have been someone Completely Different, but that's the latest ruck about a toy down in the SN cellar.
