This is for their dinner (6pm) but they did have a cooked school lunch.

No, not at all.

Mine are getting sausage rolls and over chips for dinner today. It's about a year since I have had oven chips in the house and I only got them after my DS2 begged me for some chips the other day. I doubt one dinners worth of junk or crap will kill anyone.

Sounds great. You could put a few peas on as well. I like fish finger and chip shop mushy pea sandwiches. Mine have sandwiches or jacket potato for tea if they've had a cooked lunch.

Hell no... we're having fishfingers tonight... DH will probably have multiple sandwiches slathered in ketchup... I'm just going to snaffle them on their own, no creams or other starches to contaminate dillute their loveliness. BlushGrin

When I'm being posh, I do home made fishfingers, in pitta with home made guacamole.
Every time I wonder why I bother when DD says she'd rather have the Bird's Eye ones in cheap white sliced with salad cream/barbecue sauce and pickled onions.
