Well am I.

If HE or any of his legal advisors are reading this - pass on a message.

"If you'd kept schtum it would all be blowing well over by now, instead you've reignited it and people will be discussing it for longer. Go out - buy your wife a massive "sorry I was a prat" present and move on with your life".

Oh and employ someone with some common sense to ADVISE you in future - not some rich lawyers who will now be richer as a result of this fruitless action.

Amy dying to see if Twitter deliver up what's demanded in the 7 days they have. Suspect their lawyers might be saying "this is America, they are in the UK - tell em to go take a hike".

I think hes being a prat and perhaps if everyone ignored the injunctions and he took us all to court for compensation we could all not pay and waste his money more and more?

meditrina · 21/05/2011 17:20

It's contempt of court. Fines go to the Crown. Worst case, prison.

This case is interesting as it will help clarify the law.

Just because these sleb shagging injunctions are ridiculous, it doesn't follow that every super-injunction is. The one which maintained the secrecy of the Yemeni kidnap negotiations which led to the freeing of the yacht couple was definitely worth it - it may have saved their lives. (It's Ok to say this, injunction was lifted after their safe release).

I hope Mrs Cheating Twunt Bawbag does the decent thing and spills her guts to the press before taking him to the cleaners in the divorce courts.

'Renowned family man'? Not any more he ain't. He's just another arrogant overpaid footballer who can't keep his flies zipped, and he deserves to be a laughing stock.

LynetteScavo · 21/05/2011 17:35

I totally don't care, but even I know who he is now.

and why did she shag a married footballer....surely she could have grabbed her own single one? Confused

VivaLeBeaver · 21/05/2011 17:40

I fear I'm one of the "persons unknown" on the writ. Should I be worried? Grin

alistron1 · 21/05/2011 17:45

I made a funny tweet on twitter last night, it was 'the LHC are looking for the giggs boson particle but the superinjunction means that it is still elusive'

I might get sued, but I was rather proud of my wit!!

BTW, am alistron1 on twitter if anyone wants to follow me.

Given that, allegedly, this wasn't a Rooney-esque wham, bam, here's loadsamoney m'am one minute night stand, maybe he grabbed her and gave her the age old spiel about the wife who didn't understand him blah, blah Lynette?

He's a prick - what a shame for Mrs CTB that the object of his lust wasn't a pricktease.

nanaof6 · 21/05/2011 18:09

I don't remember getting a letter from any solicitor informing me I was not allowed to discuss this man with my friends. If he'd kept it in his pants he wouldn't be in such bother now. Everyone knows how to use a computer and this info was on Google ages ago.

nijinsky · 21/05/2011 19:19

I certainly wouldn't be using that firm of solicitors if I wanted common sense, value for money advice.

ScousyFogarty · 21/05/2011 19:46

there will probably be a new privacy bill put through parliament in the long run

EdithWeston · 21/05/2011 19:55

How this legal challenge gets on will probably be pretty important in deciding if new legislation is needed, and if so what it looks like.

nanaof6: the injunctions aren't about discussions with friends - they're about publication. And twittering, posting in chat forums etc counts legally as publication.

freddy05 · 21/05/2011 20:03

a super injunction bans publishing stuff about someone but also bans telling anyone who it is so how the hell can people, on twitter and such, be punished for breaking a super injunction when they don't know the person it covers? if that makes any sense!!

DillyDaydreaming · 21/05/2011 20:04

He is being named ad infinitum in Twitter now - loads of Tweets just naming him. It's gonna cost him a great deal but then am guessing the arrogant overpaid taunt can afford it.

Am guessing that calling him a twunt puts me out of the running for the role of "common sense advisor".

He is a total fucking prick!

By the way... Did anyone see the flying pigs today?! Wink

davidtennantsmistress · 21/05/2011 20:23

if it wasn't RG then surely any innocen person would stand up and say nationally I have NEVER cheated on my wife/partner etc.

look at becks with the prostitutes (not R loos) within about 24 hours his team had tracked her down & slapped her with a court case & he venomously denied it all - fair play to the man if he did nothing wrong then women shouldn't be allowed to say he has - that's when the law should be used, not to protect some jumped up 'celeb/star' who doesn't want his dirty laundry made public - it's not fair on his wife no, but likewise he should have damn well kept it in his pants so his wife didn't have to suffer this humiliation.

whoever the 'man' is would go a long way further in a lot of peoples estimations if he came out & said yes I did screw up i'm sorry etc etc. it would all blow over in a week publically then he could get back to trying to make things right with his family.

(CTB I read means cocky taffy bastard?!? lol) not something I nec think tbh.

AgentProvocateur · 21/05/2011 20:40

Do you think he's more scared of the wrath of his wife, or the wrath of Sir Alex? Wink

barbie007 · 21/05/2011 20:43

He should have done what Becham did....just ignore the whole thing and take his wife on a skiing holiday....or the caribbean, I'd be happy with either ;)

whoate :)

barbie007 · 21/05/2011 20:43

not becham, Beckham!

dawntigga · 21/05/2011 21:40

The person involved is a complete tool. I have personal experience of his toolishness as well as one other person on that Twitter list.

Both the footballer and the chief are, for examples, cunts.

SuccinctAndToThePointTiggaxx

hairfullofsnakes · 21/05/2011 22:01

You have personal experience Dawn? Oooooooo! Do tell us more!

Go on! Tell us!

hairfullofsnakes · 21/05/2011 22:02

And who is the other person?!!!!

ReindeerBollocks · 21/05/2011 22:18

What a big twat Ryan is.

Ooops wrong thread.

DillyDaydreaming · 21/05/2011 22:26

dawntigga = Imogen?

I think we should be told. Grin

You'd think he'd have at least one mate who'd tell him to stop being such a tool.
