To put a note through my neighbour's door? WWYD?

Woman across the road has opened her bedroom curtains whilst topless twice while my husband has been alone in the front room. She was looking right at him both times. I suspect she fancies him and is doing this deliberately (she always gives him the hairy eyeball when they pass in the street, but completely blanks me and my son). I think we should put a note through the cheeky bloody cow's door reminding her that we can see into her bedroom, but my husband has asked me not to.

What would you do?

Thanks for calling me silly Hmm.

You are being very rude about this woman. She is a human being with feelings.

RevoltingPeasant · 11/05/2011 12:46

pervy old mingebag That's what I'm going to be when I grow up Grin

RunforFun · 11/05/2011 12:46

I'm thinking the same FurKnickersandnotop

But maybe I am deluded !

AgentZigzag · 11/05/2011 12:47

'you're my wife now!'

That's chilled me to the bone Grin

You've got to wonder though at someone who doesn't shut the curtains when they're getting changed.

Would there be tongue in cheek answers if it was a bloke standing tackle out at the window wondering whether he could mow the lawn before it rained?

Probably not.

PrincessScrumpy · 11/05/2011 12:47

Dh and I would probably have a laugh about it - I trust dh so not really an issue. I might make a comment if I saw her in the street to the affect of "do you realise that we can see straight in your window when you undress" - act completley naive to the fact she may be coming onto dh.

Salmotrutta · 11/05/2011 12:47

I'm sort of with Mumblingragdoll in a way - but not sure!

If it was a bloke standing without his boxers at his window wouldn't most people report it?

I have no idea what the police would do but I'm curious to know??

Hahahaha! Of course he's asked you not to put the note through. It's free boobs!

Harmless, IMO, and YABU.

MamaLazarou · 11/05/2011 12:48

Haha @ FAB!

I wouldn't say this woman was deluded, RunforFun, but she is certainly very body-confident (which is a good thing, of course). In the summer she goes around in a little boob-tube, despite looking like Sharon Streslecki from Kath & Kim (but with dark hair in a wet-look perm).

sorry - x-post without noticing AgentZigZag's last bit!

AgentZigzag · 11/05/2011 12:49

But she's not in the privacy of her own home, at the curtainless window she's crossed the boundary into a public area.

I'm not reporting her to the police, you daft old bags.

Salmo think there is clear muff/ tit distinction to be drawn here.

Full-frontal nudity probably not on, but a quick topless flash is no more than you would see on a beach or in mixed changing rooms.

In all honesty, I think the answer is not to look up at her bedroom windows. I get that it makes you uncomfortable, but it is her house, and honestly, if you left that note under my door, I'd tell you to mind your own business and stop looking through my bedroom windows.

Surely this comes under the banner of live and let live....?

ENormaSnob · 11/05/2011 12:50

If it was a bloke with his cock out I would take pictures and stare report it.

FurKnickersAndNoCoat · 11/05/2011 12:51

unless she is hiding behind the curtains waiting for the very moment your DH sits down with his binoculars and then rocks out with her knockers out - I really can't see how it is deliberate.

I often walk around naked, especially in the mornings.. but we have voile at the windows for this reason!
I wouldn't want my neighbours to be treated to an eyeful, as we live in similar type street.
Actually the 2 chaps across from us wouldn't want to see me, I'm sure, as they are a same-sex couple.
I would never open the curtains naked though, as often the voile is caught on the curtain, and wafts around

PoopyFingers · 11/05/2011 12:53

I'd take a photo and post it through her door Grin
Have ur cam phone or digi camera at the ready....!!!

AgentZigzag · 11/05/2011 12:54

But wanking is unequivocally a sexual act lockets.

I suppose it'd come down to the intention behind being naked at the window.

Some men get a kick from exposing themselves to women, perhaps to shock them, maybe as part of a sexual fantasy, but a bloke getting out of the bath and opening the curtains without thinking is not in the same league.

If the woman's doing it on purpose to shock or give a lead on to a man, isn't that in the same catagory as a man exposing himself in the park and therefore totally unacceptable sexual behaviour?

Salmotrutta · 11/05/2011 12:55

Yes, I agree RevoltingPeasant - I was just ruminating really and I have no idea how I'd respond to something like this!!

Although our DD and her DH used to live in a flat where the couple opposite got up to all sorts in their window. Shock
They just used to shut their curtains to block it out as there were some dodgy types living in the street!

One of my neighbours did stand at his bedroom window without his boxers on, he had just showered, I could tell this because he was drying his tackle in full view of the entire street. I didn't report him, why would I? He wasn't doing anything offensive, just stupid.

I am sure that my neighbours have had more than an eye full when they have peaked through my windows, sometimes I play up to it and blow kisses other times I ignore them.
