Why did you join mumsnet in the first place?

For a research project & IABU.

Just because ....

AIBU / Bereavement and sometimes style and beauty and I lurk in chat and adult fiction and sometimes have a peep at the feminist board xx

I was on a different forum and someone copied a link from here that was pretty entertaining, so I thought I would take a little peek for myself.

Mostly AIBU an Chat, for mere lurking purposes usually.

I joined to answer eBay questions, I found AIBU, then chat, then relationships I post equally on all three.

I used another site (well known confectionary) and was getting a bit bored so had a scout about and found this one.

I lurk mostly on Chat/AIBU/Feminist/S&B.

I've had a small addiction to AIBU since then. I know I should probably explore other areas of MN too but I just don't have the time...

I took a peek because one of my semi-friends told me it was a vile website full of vile people etc etc....

I have found answers to most of my problems/issues/parenting queries by searching older threads however I do like to start the odd "pointless" thread in chat.

I found it doing research, lurked for over a year, then couldn't help myself, i had to post.

I was googling baby names while pregnant with DD2 and stumbled across the wealth of weird and wonderful names (and people willing to discuss them endlessly!) that is the Baby Names topic.

I then ventured into Parenting and Breastfeeding, and after I solved all my parenting dilemmas discovered AIBU, where I usually lurk for the entertainment value!

I was googling something primary school related and it brought up a thread. I read it, got sucked in and have been here ever since! I mainly lurk on chat, but have posted a few times and can say that if you feel you need them, Mumsnet always comes up trumps

I came on here after I heard someone moaning about how bitchy and full of vipers it was . Was pleased with what I found .

I am mostly to be found in Bereavement , I am cheerier than that sounds .

OP - to get info/advice about schools, party ideas, but then one gets distracted by titles of AIBU, so you end up getting roped into AIBU!

First came on here a few years ago.Posted mainly on the miscarriage/pregnancy loss threads(a wealth of experience sadly).Since rejoining last year I can be found mainly on s&b(I am tethers nemesis),aibu(love a bunfight),miscarriage and chat(Whats for dinner???-thats me!).

I saw article about Mumsnet in the paper and came to check it out.

Put my first post on AIBU - wow was that a mistake!!
