to not want the local scum and their offspring riding motorbikes on the pavement outside my house?

because apparently I am.

I've just shouted at some local scum and told them to keep their kids off the pavements on motorbikes. I'm not just talking about those horrible minimoto things, I mean teenagers on actual motorbikes that I presume belong to their parents. I got shouted back at by the parents and told to "fuck off, they're only kids". I DON'T FUCKING CARE!

The fact that they're riding on the pavements is my only concern! I couldn't give a flying fuck if they are under 18! Most of them are 15 or 16, old enough to be told and know better!

They are doing laps of the local area. Apart from the breaking the law/safety issues, the noise is doing my head in! The roaring every two minutes as they come past my front window is so bloody infuriating!

Anyone know how I can get this to stop?! Short of throwing things at the little fuckers, of course....

call the police- all of this is illegal- mini motos are illegal. round here, the police confiscate them- soon stops them doing it.

I didn't go out, don't worry. I shouted from the window.

Have called the police before. Nothing is ever done. They don't seem to care!

the police can easily issue a section 59 against each rider that they catch, this applies to the individual and the vehicle and two in 1yr can result in the bike being crushed. they probably won't do anything though, as they know yobs are more likely to fight back. like my local police force, who issued me one for daring to go above 3000rpm, yet when I reported yobs doing handbrake turns etc, they said they couldn't do anything. I wonder why...

We get this in our street every year once the weather gets warmer - it starts with 11/12 year olds on mini motos, then their 14/15 year old brothers on motorbikes. Pavement or road, they don't care. And none of them wear helmets. And then they get their Staffs out which run up and down the road barking and chasing them.....

As my dad would say, it's like the bloody wild west round here!

Have just called the police again. Took me a while to get through on their non essential number. They are sending someone round. I've just seen a girl on the bike, she's 15 at the most.

Do you live round the corner from me? It drives me nuts - and one of teh twats either lives in teh close behind me - or his cgirlfriend does. WE've phoned community plod a few times, but they alwasy say tehy didn't see anything when they drove by - yes, an hour fucking later.

We don't live in social housing, paid top bastard whack in 2006 for our shoebox.

the council or housing association - whichever they live in should have an anti social behaviour officer and you need to speak to them - regardless of this - you should report them to their housing association or council - whoever provides the housing - and report to their housing officer

We own here, but they are social housing, it's a bit of a mix really. I'll bet my bottom dollar when they police do turn up, the little bastards will be gone. Always the way. I told them the address of where the bikes are being stored, so hopefully they will actually do something this time.

I think it's HA, I will call them in the morning. Can I get an ASBO diary from them and what weight does that carry? Just want rid of the morons.

They need to stop riding their bikes on the frigging pavement, whether they have a mortgage or not is irrelevant.

Aaaaah. Good point about HA and antisocial behaviour clauses. That could be a good route.

I couldn't care less if they are HA or privately owned. Calling them scum was not a reflection on their living situation, it was a reflection on their abhorrant behaviour.

They're scum cos they're riding on the pavements and not giving a flying fuck about people pushing prams and little kids playing out. Doesn't matter whether they live in a shed or a pissing mansion; still breaking the law and having scant regard for other people. Everytime they go past, the only thign that stops me running out into teh road is imagining myself as someNora Batty-type woman, replete with rolling pin waved aloft as I, alone, defend the neighbourhood.
