to not want the local scum and their offspring riding motorbikes on the pavement outside my house?

because apparently I am.

I've just shouted at some local scum and told them to keep their kids off the pavements on motorbikes. I'm not just talking about those horrible minimoto things, I mean teenagers on actual motorbikes that I presume belong to their parents. I got shouted back at by the parents and told to "fuck off, they're only kids". I DON'T FUCKING CARE!

The fact that they're riding on the pavements is my only concern! I couldn't give a flying fuck if they are under 18! Most of them are 15 or 16, old enough to be told and know better!

They are doing laps of the local area. Apart from the breaking the law/safety issues, the noise is doing my head in! The roaring every two minutes as they come past my front window is so bloody infuriating!

Anyone know how I can get this to stop?! Short of throwing things at the little fuckers, of course....

ASBO diaries (or rather ASB diaries) are given to people who suffer with nightmare neighbours, to record the incidents. I just don't know who gives them out.

My mortgage has fuck all to do with this. The HA thing only came up because they might be violating their tenancy.

We should be an army of Nora Batty lookalikes! We may confuse them into submission if nothing else! Grin

Can you report it on fixmystreet.com?

You type in a report and they send it to your local council on your behalf but they contact you by email to find out if the situation has been resolved to your satisfaction and chase up the council if not.

You can report anything from broken streetlights and people not cleaning up after their dog to drunken gangs and abandoned cars.

You can also add updates and photographs if you wish.

I've used it a few times and it has been a big help in getting potholes and streetlights mended.

We had some trouble like this but then the councillors for our ward (and a couple of other wards nearby) made it a personal mission to get it sorted and arranged a special phone number to call to report it and the police came quickly to confiscate/issue warnings/arrest as required. Might be worth a call or email to your councillor/s to see if they can do the same.

Thanks both of you! Very helpful info. Will take a look at that site. Might try contacting councillors as well!

if its the noise nuisance,i'll say it again....environmental health!

That used to do my nut in when I lived in my old place. Muppets with souled up hairdryers zooming all over the shop! Much quieter here for the most part. Do have to watch out for the sparrows though, cheeky little feckers can take your ear off when you're hanging the laundry out!

I'd try every avenue, tbh. That behaviour is illegal because it's dangerous.

Behaving like this is scummy.
