I wish I could do most of them. I'll pass on the shooting, skinning, plucking and gutting though.

Think that's quite a good list, actually - might have to have a bash at some of the ones I can't do!

Although being a veggie, I'm not sure I'll ever get around to the rabbit-skinning...

Entirely I'd say 17, partially at least 5. Not too bad considering I was dragged up in Newham.

I think the list is rather good and in fact me and DW have formlated a similar list of things we want our DSs to be able to do. Our list includes being able to ski, play a round of golf and use basic survival skills. Other than that, it is ideally what every accomplished young man or woman of the World should be able to do.

I can do about 30 of them.

lucky if i can do half a dozen. I am a pleb

Here are the ones I would really like to add to my repertoire:

1. Say 'Can you help me please' in Arabic, Cantonese, Urdu, Spanish and Russian

1. Talk about five classics of English literature with authority and passion

1. Know how to grow carrots from seed, distinguish five native trees, identify twenty flowers and arrange a bunch

14. Recognise Mozart, Elgar and Handel

15. Sail a boat across The Solent

16. Find their way round five capital cities

17. Know how to manage a bank account

I have no interest in most of them or have someone who does them for me
