Seeing him rolling out of Boujis at 3am looking half cut has made me wonder.....

psychoveggie · 01/05/2011 20:54

YABU. Why exactly would it concern you?

unsurevalentine · 01/05/2011 20:55

Well it didn't concern his father James Gilby?

troisgarcons · 01/05/2011 20:56

Assumptive to assume he has one night stands ..... don't recall ever seeing a kiss and tell in the tabloids.

wotnochocs · 01/05/2011 20:56

The aristocracy have been fathering children on the wrong side of the blanket since time immemorial. They would be paid off/threatened into silence I expect

Punkatheart · 01/05/2011 20:56

James Hewitt.

catchmeifyoucan · 01/05/2011 20:56

Who is James Gilby?

Hassled · 01/05/2011 20:57

I'm sure he's been well educated on the subject of safe sex.

peeriebear · 01/05/2011 20:57

I like Harry a lot. I've never heard that he has one night stands. I assume he is a very sensible young man despite his laddish image.

fivegomadindorset · 01/05/2011 20:58

James Gilby is someone I went to college with. James Hewitt is the alleged father of Harry.

squeakytoy · 01/05/2011 20:58

I think, if you look at any photos of Harry, it is fairly obvious that Charles is his father. He looks more like him than William ever has or will.

As for one night stands, how does rolling out of a nightclub equate to that?

KatieMiddleton · 01/05/2011 20:58

Are you worried he can't afford it? That he might be a good father? Exactly what are you concerned about regarding this man you have never met and do not know?

TattyDevine · 01/05/2011 20:58

Nothing would "happen" as such (hypothetically - no idea if he has one night stands) - he would be obliged to support the child financially. It would be known that he had an illigitimate child (for want of a better expression) but I expect the Royal Family might try and pay her off but I'm musing now...

HalfPastWine · 01/05/2011 20:59

catch James Gilby was one of Diana's lovers. There was James Hewitt too.

peeriebear · 01/05/2011 20:59

I'm also assuming that he has had drummed into him the importance of an heir to the throne (however far removed) practising safe sex!!

unsurevalentine · 01/05/2011 21:01

Sorry Hewitt

Hassled · 01/05/2011 21:04

I have a DS1 only a bit younger than Harry and DS1, I'm informed (by DS1), regularly rolls out of clubs half-cut in the early hours. As did I, in my distant youth. Why the hell not? He's a young man having some fun - nothing to suggest that wild-oat sowing is going on.

tryingtoimprove · 01/05/2011 21:04

It's fine he had a private education - they teach sex education in independent schools - he'll know how to put a condom on a broom handle.

Ihavewelliesbuttheyrenotgreen · 01/05/2011 21:10

I don't think that he is neccessarily having one-night-stands. I for one think that he looks too much like the Royal family to be James Hewitt's son. There was a picture of him at the wedding with his cousin Lady Louise and they looked suprisingly alike I thought. Red hair is a Spencer trail, his uncle the Earl of Spencer or whatever hes called has red hair as did Diana's Dad I think. Prince William doesn't like particularly like Charles either I don't think although you can see some of him in him.

TotemPole · 01/05/2011 21:11

I agree, he's picked up Charles ears & he has Philip's eyebrows.

Earl Spencer has red/gingerish hair, so that gene is that side of the family. And look at Prince Andrew and Prince Edwards hair colour too.

tryingtobemarypoppins2 · 01/05/2011 21:12

ummmmm must remember MN is a very serious place now.....

For those in a light hearted mood - was wondering if it might be a cover up/off with her head situation? Hmm

sorry I meant *look like

TotemPole · 01/05/2011 21:16

Would anyone go blabbing to the press about their illegitimate royal children? It would be a nightmare for the mother and child if it got out. If Harry knocked me up, I'd take the pay off money and stay quiet.

TotemPole · 01/05/2011 21:23

They'd pay them off to keep quiet, more money than the press would offer for a scoop, so no point going public about the situation.

I think'd they'd let them keep their heads though.

Prince Harry's circle of friends and girls will be posh folk with a family reputation to uphold etc. I can't see him copping of with the same kiss and tell types as e.g. footballers do.

maypole1 · 01/05/2011 21:47

Nothing, the woman would be hushed up and you would never hear od it, you can't even blab about having a quickie with footballers these days.
