I liked kates dress and her smile lit her whole appearance up, it was understated, elegant and stylishly fitted in with the abbey. You hardly ever see a picture of kate with her hair up why would she have it so different on her wedding day if she suits it better down then thats the way it should have been.

I liked that they caught on camera William telling Kate she looked beautiful, they both looked very happy and I wish them both all the best wishes for the future.

Pippa's dress is too sexy for a wedding. She looks good but I think it's not demure/modest enough.

RunAwayWife · 29/04/2011 14:16

I loved the lace, I think her mother got her outfit so right as well, I want Pippa's dress (and her figure) loved the bridesmaids but would have likes to have seem more flowers, thought her bouquet was a little small, but on the whole they got it so very right

Oh I like the dress. Very beautiful.

mosschops30 · 29/04/2011 14:18

Yes thanks i will hide it but not before saying that those of ypu giving 4/10 blah blah blah have a bloody nerve.
Most of you are probably sat at home in your size 18 boden cardigans and trousers that are ill fitting.
Slagging off a beautiful, young, slim, princess who looked so fabulous, classic understated and did the royal family proud.
Lets face it whatever sje wore you bitches would have had something mean to say because thats what youre like.
You should feel ashamed, cant you just be nice or one day?
So glad i dont know some of you in real life, kind of women who turn up to a wedding and make all the right noises whilst whispering to anyone who will listen at how awful the bride looks.

Im proud to be british today but ashamed to be a mnetter.

Say what yoy like about me now, im hiding this bitchfest

Moss I don't think anyone has said anything derogatory about kate, criticising the dress yes but not saying 'she looks like a tool' or anything.

breathing · 29/04/2011 14:19

just because she is bonking a married to a prince doesnt make her automatically beautiful

talie101 · 29/04/2011 14:20

Her sister looked better!

diddl · 29/04/2011 14:20

Can´t help thinking that Pippa was wearing what Kate would have like to!

And although not keen on the dress myself, I think that for the occasion it couldn´t be faulted really.

I was thinking much more fitted skirt & more of a train.
But I think that once you have long lace sleeves, it limits the rest.

breathing · 29/04/2011 14:21

I liked Cath's better than pippa's...pippa's was a bit late 80's

forehead · 29/04/2011 14:21

Mosschops, take a chill pill fgs.

Kates dress, really really lovely, pretty and elegant but loses half a mark for nipple effect. Veil and tiara perfect. Make up too heavy.

Pippa fell only just the right side of slutty (she, her mother and brother all need to lose the tan) and her dress did not work with Kates. The DoE seemed to be enjoying her though.

Page boys- gorgeous
Bridesmaids- pretty but ordinary

Sarah Chatto wins best dressed guest. Spencer girls the prettiest. Camilla's outfit was lovely

Those poor York girls, not blessed by nature but someone (other than their mother obv.) needs to take them in hand. T P-T looked dreadful and VB's hat was awful. Sam Cam should have worn a hat.

Oooo and the food! www.officialroyalwedding2011.org/blog/2011/April/29/The-Lunchtime-Reception

CountessOldSilverDeRothschild · 29/04/2011 14:24

My thought is that Pippa is wearing the dress that Kate would have loved to have gotten away with [cwink] and that is why Kate chose it ...

jalopy · 29/04/2011 14:25

Beatrice's hat looked like a carpet-beater.

treedelivery · 29/04/2011 14:25

Lots of dress detail on how it was made www.officialroyalwedding2011.org/blog/2011/April/29/The-Wedding-Dress--Bridesmaids--Dresses-and-Pages--Uniforms

Poor Beckham was wearing his medal on the wrong lapel. And it should have been a miniature. If you are going to do it,do it right!!

cyb · 29/04/2011 14:28

Thought she looked loverly, really lovely, so classic. She has good arms, I noticed on the balcony

Thought her sis looked amazing. Beatrice and Eugenie , whichever one was wearing what looked like Minotaurs horns on the front of her head, looked wrong and Sam cam SHOULD have worn a hat, she looked underdressed

cocolepew · 29/04/2011 14:30

I thought she looked beautiful, I loved her veil. I've spent weeks slagging off the wedding and today I never missed a thing Blush

BigSooz · 29/04/2011 14:30

Oh get off your high horse, mosschops, you sour puss!

BigCook · 29/04/2011 14:31

I thought Kate's dress was perfect. Totally beautiful and understated yet elegant and stunning. Makeup was lovely.

Phillippa looked gorgeous. Very glamourous.

Camilla looked amazing. Never thought I'd say that but she really did look lovely.

Kate's mum looked stunning.

The Queen however looked a bit like Jim Carrey in 'The Mask' when he wears that yellow suit and hat.

Little bridesmaids were OK, cute and typical but never the less perfect for the occassion.

Victoria Bekham's hat was truely ridiculous.

David Cameron still looked like a smug, shiny faced public school boy but I guess it'll take more than a royal wedding to change that!

sweetkitty · 29/04/2011 14:32

As always not everyone is going to love the dress, if that were the case every bride would be in an identical dress. Boring! part of the best bit about weddings is having a good old discussion about the dress.

Kate's dress suited her and as long as she loved it how cares?

Not my cup of Tetley though.
