her " oh no you dont want THOSE, they are DISGUSTING"
i was so tempted to say " oh no they are REALLY NICE" as she repeated it so many times.

my objection was

1. she was totally negating her sons feelings

2, i dont like chocolate cereal but to say they are disgusting is just a lie

1. i wanted to piss on her fireworks

am i being unreasonable

They are utterly, utterly vile. Disgusting is mild. And it's not because they're chocolate. It's because they're made from the devil's arse.

Can't bloody stand it when people are sneery about cereal. It's cereal FFS. And coco pops are yum, second only to frosties.

i think they're disgusting and i always have done, as a child they were the box left behind in the variety pack - they don't even taste of chocolate, they taste weird...

They don't need chocolate flavoured things, any more than they need peanut butter.
They'd all do fine on porridge made with water, and salt, and walking ten miles to school through the snow with no shoes.

I don't particularly agree with chocolate for breakfast either but I'd be a total hypocrite to keep them all to myself not let the kids have some occasionally.

They were REALLY disgusting when a child we had the misfortune to take on holiday with ds a few years ago had apple juice on them! Yuk!

I eat them, secretly. along with nutella that I keep at work. And pop tarts.

I am PFB about giving DS chocolate for breakfast. I am fully aware nothing bad ever happened to a child who had the odd bowl of coco pops, but I like to think he's filled up a bit by porridge or weetabix (with no sugar! call SS )
