I mean do you think it would be excessive of me to ask WillKat to just get married quietly and have a day of celebrating Prof Cox with street parties and a day off to study the rings of Saturn?

I mean that, to me, would be a more appropriate reason for a national celebration that a posh splicing. Altho I do like William and Harry more than their dreary father. I think the Queen is ok too. But I like Brian Cox, even despite his moobs, more.

I agree. Then we should also have a Dan Snow day. I am in love.

(I do like a brainy man)

YANBU. I like the idea of a Royal Wedding but also of the Brian Cox day. (Although I'd like him better if he would dye his hair as I don't like the grey). DReam were on one of the music channels last night but I'm not sure if I spotted him or not because the video focussed so much on the lead singer.

Zillahwhodranktoomuchgin Neil Oliver really? With his awful hair and whiny voice? Surely shome mishtake!

ZillahWhoDrankTooMuchGin · 15/04/2011 11:47

Neil Oliver, noooooooooooooooo! He looks like a worrying splice of Baldrick from Black Adder and Neil Pye from the Young Ones.

ZillahWhoDrankTooMuchGin · 15/04/2011 11:54

Brian Cox i don't get.....he gurns grins too much...

Longstocking2 · 15/04/2011 12:00

LOL marmalade at "Hohn-ee-hohn-ee-hohn".
Sorry Neil oliver canNOT share Brian's special special national day for he is Scottish, can't he have a day in Scotland where he can toss his hair about in his bath of self love?

Sorry, forgive me, I saw him on the face of Britain last night and he IS good but he doesn't not straddle the universe like and Educational Colossus!!!!

marmaladetwatkins · 15/04/2011 12:01

Brian is GREAT. He can girn all he likes in my general direction any time. I would ask him how he gets his hair so luxuriously shiny.

Longstocking2 · 15/04/2011 12:02

I'd almost say Bwian Cox could straddle my universe like an Educational CoLOSsus but he is a bit feline and feminine somehow. I can actually see him in a dress.
But his MIND I adore, I love his mind and his educational skills!

Brian Cox is yummy but Dan would rescue you from France in caae of volcanic ash. Swoon.

Neil Oliver is creepy though, makes me think of a hairy Scottish Gollum.

5Foot5 · 15/04/2011 13:14

Sorry but I just do not get this recent obsession and idolisation of Brian Cox. He seems to be on the front of every magazine at the moment.

He really does nothing at all for me..

nulliusxinxverbax · 15/04/2011 13:31

Yes yes this is a genius idea!!!

There seems to be hatred of the Prof. I dont understand. I love his programmes!

I have to agree that he isnt my usual type, but a man with a degree in particle physics gets it even if he looked like quasimodo.

nijinsky · 15/04/2011 13:38

I must say, with regards to smiling Brian, it is nice to see a man who is the same age as me and doesn't look like he could be my grandfather. Apart from his hair. So many just look so old for their years.

Bucharest · 15/04/2011 13:45

You all need to go and look at the last thread with Brian Cox in the title.

You would then realise he is, in fact, of extra terrestrial origin himself, needs sticking to a window like a 70s gonk and fondles an invisible breast while enthusing about stars and stuff.

So, yes, YAallBVU......Grin

nulliusxinxverbax · 15/04/2011 14:04

I did read the fish lips invisable booby fondling thread.

Utter blasphemy

oohlaalaa · 15/04/2011 14:22

YANBU

This Royal Wedding has turned me into a Republican - we dont know Will and Kate personally, so why the hell are we celebrating.

Highlander · 15/04/2011 14:31

Did you see Dan Snow doing his filthy paris thing on TV the other night? DH said I blushed when he stood there, loosely draped in a micr towel.
