Bodyshop Jojoba Oil Shampoo. Gone forever.:(

thenightsky · 11/04/2011 23:16

Lush used to be Cosmetics To Go??? wow, i didn't know that.

ResurrectionByChocolate · 11/04/2011 23:26

I still see Dark Mars Bars (oop North). We can also get weird flavoured crisps (like fish and chips) in the discount stores. But Dime bars, which I love, are disappearing.

WineComesInAtTheMouth · 12/04/2011 00:59

I wish they'd bring back the mushroom and wine Pasta n sauce, it kept me company on many a lonely night on call!
And Bobbi Brown's Marina Pink 2 sheer lip gloss. I am down to the last application, will be hunting for a replacement later today. It might be a long day...
Peanut butter KitKats were divine.
Frys five flavoured chocolate bars, I am sitting here reminiscing about my lovely old Nan who used to share hers with me, and if I had been especially good it was washed down with a teeny tiny sip of Snowball. Blush 'Twas the Seventies...

M&S wholemeal base cheese and tomato pizza
54321 biscuits
Cadburys Astros
Ringos crisps
Roysters Hamburger flavour crisps
Cartoonies biscuits
Oink magazine/comic
Jezzas confessions (Jeremy Kyles old radio show - so so so much better than his crappy tv show)

Tigerbomb · 12/04/2011 01:34

Ready Salted Disco's - could ever stand the Cheese and Onion or Salt and Vinegar ones
Bodyshop Dewberry soap
Cadbury Spira's
Fry's Chocolate Creams - the 5 flavoured one

That's just for starters

mmmmmchocolate · 12/04/2011 07:16

rustybear thank you!! Smile

caughtinanet · 12/04/2011 07:57

AlmightyCitrus - that's brilliant thanks, I'll see where my nearest one is

MrsChemist · 12/04/2011 08:02

Nero did these bruscetta (sp?) bites that were lovely. Now theyjust do crisp. Crisp don't taste as good with coffee.

MrsChemist · 12/04/2011 08:04

Oh and fish and chip crisps. The little fish and chip shaped biscuit things.

RustyBear · 12/04/2011 08:25

Fry's Five Boys and Fry's Five Centres were different - Five Centres was a bar like the current Chocolate Cream/Mint cream/Orange Cream ones but with each section a separate flavour - I think they were orange, lemon, strawberry, raspberry and pineapple, but I can't be sure. But I do have a feeling (or am I imagining it?) that there were actually six sections to the bar with one flavour repeated, and that it wasn't the same flavour each time (which would make sense as the machine would 'move on' one section with each bar iyswim)

Five Boys chocolate was just chocolate, no filling, and each section a picture of the same boy with five different expressions -
Desperation, Pacification, Expectation, Acclamation, Realisation

Campbells condensed soups. Used to use them in sauces a lot, now can't get them for love nor money, and I've come close to offering both [poor Sainsbury's workers!] Wink

ivykaty44 · 12/04/2011 18:37

asda do cambells soup - bottom of the shelf as they don't pay for a higher slot

prettybird · 12/04/2011 18:42

Chairofthebored : you can still get campbells Condensed soup - only now it is called Batcehllors as the brand got bought.

... and Sainsbury's stocks it if the link works

AmazingDisgrace · 12/04/2011 18:50

NOOOOOOO. KatieMiddleton. I love Neroli too, its what I wore on my wedding day

KatieMiddleton · 12/04/2011 19:06

Ah I'm glad I'm not alone. I bought mine after I had ds. I felt I deserved a treat.

If you track some down let me know. I'm on the hunt for a replacement. I'm hopeful Jo Malone might have something similar. Or I shall have to make own a la Kirstie Allsopp Sad

MikeRotch · 12/04/2011 19:44

hassled - what is the next best one then

ChairOfTheBored · 12/04/2011 19:51

loudass Can't believe I have finally found someone who remembers Tab Clear! It was lovely, I used to get it as a treat after swimming lessons, about '93/'94? Was it Barrs that made it?

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 12/04/2011 23:15

Limara's 'Green Summer' bodyspray... I loved it so much, Ditto Impulse's Gypsy bodyspray.

Max Factor's Geminesse perfume... sells for mega bucks on ebay now. I remember the scent so well.

Farmer Brown crisps (bacon flavour) I think... and Bones crisps salt and vinegar flavour... divine!

*M&S pallette of three blushers and a highlighter and brush in a square, hinged tin. I thought I was the height of sophistication in the 80s at school with that in my bag...

Perform shampoo... I can't remember what fragrance it was but I loved it dearly.

Wimpy quarterpounders with cheese, the proper ones, in a star-crossed brown bun and wrapped in a yellow paper wrapper... delicious and today's versions are not the same.

Great thread by the way... so nostalgic. :)

goodegg · 12/04/2011 23:26

Lush again - Skinny Dip shower gel. It was the smell of the gods - it was half melty white chocolate and vanilla and half essential oils, you shook it to mix. Ohhh the smell. Why, oh why?

MikeRotch · 13/04/2011 08:34

Limara!!

ThreeBunniesOfTheApocalypse · 13/04/2011 08:59

I LOVED Jezzas confessions, it saw me through late nights with a hellish pregnancy. The man has sold his soul Sad

Also mountain dew and those loony tunes crisps with the pictures on. Anyone else remember those ?

thelambliesdown · 13/04/2011 09:15

Megatron · 13/04/2011 09:19
