Does anyone remember shear woods peach chutney it was fabulous with cheese

Deadsouls · 24/04/2012 21:05

Does anyone remember that chocolate type sauce that you poured over ice cream and then it would set hard.....I think I'm talking about 80s here. I remember being a kid and so wanting that chocolate sauce in the way that only kids can

BobbieSox · 24/04/2012 21:08

Agree with so many of these but whoever mentioned Yorkies with biscuit in they definitely still make them, i have one every time I go to Sainsburys

MeTheMog · 24/04/2012 21:09

Krumbum · 24/04/2012 21:13

China glaze nail polish in emerald sparkle. Maybe it will come back one day! But eBay ppl squeeze ya.

justtryingtodomybest · 24/04/2012 21:22

Kirisox you still get that croissant dough in the tin - I have bought it recently. Look in the chiller in your supermarket - usually beside the butter and other spreads

FeakAndWeeble · 24/04/2012 21:28

Secret Bars. They came, they disappeared... They came back, they disappeared.

They were the nicest chocolate bars ever. Sob.

ISpyPlumPie · 24/04/2012 21:32

Quite a few that have already been mentioned:
-Spiras
-Vice-Versas
-Dewberry stuff
-Flipz
-Organics shampoo

Also:
-Walkers Bitz a Pizza crisps
-Ginsters Firey Mexican cheese wraps
-Tribe perfume - I know,it smelt sickly sweet but was gutted as a teen when it disappeared

After Eight Ice Cream in a tub. Mint choc heaven, RIP.

TheFogsGettingThicker · 24/04/2012 21:34

Monsoon Perfume - I think it was called Monsoon, anyway. Blue short frosted bottle, copper-coloured cone shaped top. Loved it.

TheFogsGettingThicker · 24/04/2012 21:46

StayFrosty - Your Rimmel "Black Cherries" rang a bell. I had a root in my Make-Up-I-Don't-Wear-But-Won't-Throw-Out bag and I found the "Black Cherries" one, virtually unused. I bought it and realised it was too dark for me...

I also found a "Heather Shimmer" in the same nick Blush
God only knows how long they've been there.

But I'm still using my Rimmel "Venetian Glass" and "Drop Of Sherry"....

The body shop almost discontinued ginger shampoo once, very worrying.

Ginger perfume, originally by cosmetics-to-go, briefly revived some years after they'd become lush, then discontinued. I aim to use my two bottles, one from each era, very sparingly for the rest of my life.

Condiverde in little jars to mix into pasta, supermarkets did it in the 90s then stopped.

bananaistheanswer · 24/04/2012 23:58

Orange ski yoghurts. The only staple in my diet for the first 20 years of my existence. I just miss them so much. My mum always bought me 7 youghurts every week in her shopping, and it was the only thing I went into the fridge for - all other food was just meh. I'll never ever forgive those bloody muller bastards for squeezing ski out of the yoghurt market

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 25/04/2012 09:22

I've said it before, but:

the Body Shop still do Fuzzy Peach!

lottiegb · 25/04/2012 10:10

Just read rest of thread, pleased to see I'm not the only one to remember cosmetics to go! Loved them in my teens and even visited their single tiny shop in Poole once.

Pity they couldn't make a profit and, that they went bankrupt after banking my cheque but before sending out my last order.

I think they were bought out and transformed into Lush, though one director's name was the same, so I do still feel that multi-millionaire Lush owes me (about £6.50 in early 90s money)!

Jins · 25/04/2012 10:37

lottiegb you can still get Ginger perfume through Lush but only online.

They went bankrupt soon after my last order as well but I wasn't too concerned as they sent it out twice :)

I don't think they were bought out. I think the original founders set up Lush a few years afterwards - all the names are the same. (I still have some CTG catalogues)

Ooh, thanks Jins!

Satine5 · 25/04/2012 14:01

After Eight ice cream in a tub. The best ice cream I have ever eaten! Apparently still available in Canada...

Spice17 · 25/04/2012 16:38

Elysium perfume by Clarins, gorgous smell, last had some in late 90's early 00's
