All this talk of coconut Boosts - does anyone remember the CABANA bar? Coconut etc. but with cherries too, yum.

Not missed by me as much as NUTTY BARS though Sad

LemonPancakes · 17/04/2012 17:32

Probably already been mentioned but the old Herbal Essences, I adored the Chinese Cinnamon one in the red bottle, but I'd give anything to have the pale pink or yellow bottle back. Sad

HolyCalamityJane · 17/04/2012 17:35

I used to love Cabana bars "come mr magic man make me a cabana daylight come and me wanna go home" and I think you'll find it was cherry and melon pieces with the coconut. Also was a fan of the nutty bar and Ovaltine chocolate it was gorgeous!!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 17/04/2012 18:20

I adored Cabana bars!! I love anything cherryish. They're under-represented in sweetie world, cherries.

MaureenMLove · 17/04/2012 18:24

I once bought up about 30 bottles of Sainsbury brown sauce, because they changed the recipe and I didn't like the new one. I was distraught! I've tried every brand going over the years and nothing compared to Sainsburys own brand. Sad I was thrilled to see that they were selling the old recipe off at about 20p a bottle, so I bought the whole lot! Grin

I also wrote to Sainsburys to complain (tongue in cheek kinda e-mail) and they sent me a £20 voucher and an apology! Grin Didn't change it back though.

Fried agg sarnies just aren't the same anymore!

WhaleOilBeefHookedIWill · 17/04/2012 19:14

Terry's Bitz bars and nutcracker eggs
Hubba Bubba soda
Lyons Turkish Delight ice lollies
Magnum egos
Say Cheese crisps
Body shop fuzzy peach
And back in the day (about 1993/94) there was this amazingly lovely body spray called sixth sense.
I love reminiscing about the good old days.
Oh there were also these sweets nobody ever remembers them and the name escapes me, they were sugar puffs covered in chocolate and they were in a beigey kind of bag

Debsbear · 17/04/2012 19:16

dictionarydiva · 17/04/2012 19:26

Tesco's Finest Roast Chicken Casserole. It was delicious. But only for one winter until they discontinued it, never to be seen again.

dictionarydiva · 17/04/2012 19:30

Oh and Paco Rabanne XS Pour Elle. It was a beautiful smell and sure there's Paco Rabanne XS Black and One Million but neither are as good. I found a bottle in a dodgy chemist on the wrong side of town and while back and jumped at the chance to pay £10 for what the chemist himself warned me was "probably past it's best" perfume. It smells a bit vinegary but I now have to keep this bottle forever.

WhaleOilBeefHookedIWill · 17/04/2012 19:42

They still do oat crunchies!!! I'm quite partial to a bowl no and then

KenDoddsDadsDog · 17/04/2012 20:29

Philosophy The Greatest Love exfoliator. The best product ever.

Mandy2003 · 17/04/2012 20:36

Vanilla Nesquik. Bought in Poundstretcher (many years ago, with Arabic writing on it), never seen again Sad

Looked on Nestle's (boo!) website and apparently it's not available in the UK due to "taste differences" - WTAF!!! It sold out over and over again in Poundstretcher.

Several years later I found a powdered milk product, a Latte topping, which was lovely too. Then that disappeared from the shops. I have an ill-fated relationship with the vanilla pod methinks!

DS keeps asking me for "Cheese and Onion Pot Noodle" but I think he's winding me up, ...isn't he??

discophile · 17/04/2012 20:39

Can't read whole thread. Has any mentioned Flex shampoo and conditioner? It was lovely.

Also, Body Shop Viennese face chalk (it was called something Viennese I think). I was mildly exfoliating and really wonderful. Lots of Body Shop stuff on this list. Send to Body Shop?

Cresta
Vesta ready meals
Coconut boost
Bovril crisps

discophile · 17/04/2012 20:41

"Wheat Crunchies" crisp type things.

fluffiphlox · 17/04/2012 20:45

discophile I bought some Revlon Flex hairspray in South Africa about 18 months ago and it smelled as if it should have been used for biological warfare. Must be a different thing!

discophile · 17/04/2012 20:46

Ah, I see someone has mentioned Flex. It smelt of the 80s.

Mint Clubs!!! Yes.
