if it's boring you, do something about it

if you've got everything, do something for someone else

life is short folks and you never know what's round the corner

activate Shock
Why so rude?

UnlikelyAmazonian · 28/03/2011 19:54

activate no suprisingly not.

I think it was a twattish op. You must be in your twenties I guess. (yawn)

do you wear flip flops and smoke rollies?

UnlikelyAmazonian · 28/03/2011 19:56

My life is so boring I am going to do something about it.

I am going to haul ds (3) out of bed and put sparkles in my hair then stroll with him barefoot down to the shitty pub up the road and get hammered.

Then I am going to come home and start an internet business.

Then I am going to write a book and learn to drive cattle.

sorted

activate · 28/03/2011 19:58

gettingout re the rudeness, oh I tend to react when people come on to a thread where there is a general consensus of opinion to call me, the OP a "exquisitely dull, garrulous biped", "brain-dead" and "smug git"

well I was bored

but this thread is now entertaining me Grin

Bonsoir · 28/03/2011 20:02

Agree with OP. There is so much to do in life and so little time. You have to have zero skills to be bored, IMO.

PeterAndreForPM · 28/03/2011 20:02

me too

and the other one where two perfectly nice people are slugging chunks outta each other

gettingout · 28/03/2011 20:04

Juvenile name calling is unnecessary. How you can get so worked up about such a mild subject matter is beyond me?

tethersend · 28/03/2011 20:05

I'm bored.

What's this about?

Who's good and who's pure evil?

Fill me in usual, you fucking moron.

I'm always intrigued by the "you make your own luck"............sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - bit like the lottery really. Some times you buy a ticket and win fuck all, sometimes you get "lucky" and win £10, but it doesn't last long, you might win a little more than that and it lasts you a while longer, but again, it comes to an end .......once in a blue bloody moon you might win the jackpot and that keeps you going for a very long time.

I'm bored, there's stuff I want to do, I can't do the stuff until I have a job, I can't get a job (though am looking) until DS3 starts schools. It sucks, I'll whinge if I want to, sucks even more that even once I've got a job I probably still won't be able to afford to do that stuff Grin

UnlikelyAmazonian · 28/03/2011 20:08

She started it {fists up}

bonsoir : "You have to have zero skills to be bored, IMO."

Shock Shock

Alan Bennett was bored
Philip Larkin was bored.

Being bored is part of the human condition ffs.

It makes the enjoyable parts all the more wonderful.

usualsuspect · 28/03/2011 20:08

I'm not sure whos the baddy ,Tetherstwat

I think I'm slightly more on UA side though

PeterAndreForPM · 28/03/2011 20:08

LITR, you don't wanna know

it's not pretty

there is something in the air this evening

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 28/03/2011 20:09

a few £££££'s don't go a miss either to stop the boredom Wink

right come on Bonsoir, and Activate - you've got money - hand some over so I can stop being so bored Grin

FabbyChic · 28/03/2011 20:09

It isn;t that easy for those who suffer from mental illness to be able to do something to relieve the boredom. Apathy has a lot to answer for.

Before posting next time maybe you ought to think first.

Not everyone who is bored CAN do something about it.
