Even though I've never had a regular 9-5, and I've always managed to land weekend shifts.. (and I'm not even working right now due to maternity leave!) I still get that Friday feeling! ;)

What's everyone doing this weekend??

I am taking DD swimming, then to Horton farm, then going to visit some friends for dinner.
Then Sunday I'm going to Chessington Zoo!

(two animal activities in one weekend!)

Anyone else??

anything..........can we swap please... Grin

Scrumpet · 05/03/2011 01:32

Nothing much tomorrow other than shopping/washing/cooking, but I want to book a session on a climbing wall on sunday. Except that seems silly because for the first time this year the sun has been out and being in a converted climbing church might waste the sun.

Tsk. What to do?!

If I plan a lovely walk on sunday, it's bound to rain Hmm

Monty27 · 05/03/2011 01:38

Mildly inebriated this evening

Lie in tomorrow until when I want to

Tidying
Cleaning
Laundry
Shopping
Cooking
Gardening

And loving two teen dc's

ds will bring me tea in bed :)
then I'll give him money to go and do his football
later I'll give him money to out with his mates
dd is working at her part-time job
I'll collect her at some point
Food will miraculously arrive on the table (curry or some such pot thing)
They may or may not be wanting to eat
talk to them at some point Grin

I'll try and get some me time at some point, but then they are me it would seem.

I'm going to read this tomorrow and think Shock I need a life!

Suggestions on a postcard :)

Ooh I have a smashing weekend.

Rollerdisco party at lunchtime, then little bit of shopping, then cooking for poker night I'm hosting tomorrow night, then competitive Poker tournament.

Sunday, a lovely lie-in breakfast in bed, then cinema or ThinkTank visit (or both), then tea at mom and dad's house and then a lovely evening alone with DH before he goes back to work for the week on Monday. Sad

Oh and I will feed the cats. Grin

midtowner · 05/03/2011 03:34

Tomorrow - lie in, grocery shopping, running, out for dinner

Sunday - OU work, chat with tutor, walk in the woods

spamm · 05/03/2011 03:37

My parents are visiting for the day tomorrow to see our new house - we have been in a week, and it is so exciting.

And then on Sunday I fly to Boston to go to Harvard Business School for a week -such a fantastic opportunity, I cannot wait!

PenguinArmy · 05/03/2011 03:54

DD is 1 tomorrow.

Was going to bake a cake in the morning (but have realised I have no cake tins), take her out and buy her present (a ball). Then in the afternoon the three of are going to hang out with another family at the beach. They'll be surfing we'll be watching.

Then Sunday I think we might go to the zoo.

TechnoKitten · 05/03/2011 05:11

Today we went out window shopping for our new house - have chosen (almost!) the internal doors & handles, have a good idea on front door style, have no sodding clue on bathtub, sinks, toilets but have decided to buy the taps from eBay. Out for lunch at local cafe, home for afternoon sleep for boys (and me, was on call last night & working till after midnight)... am now vaguely awake and pondering wine while boys have their weekend TV (little einsteins). May do a cache when it gets darker, there's one I've wanted to do for a while but it's a night one.

Tomorrow - depends on weather! Softplay/climbing/kids area probably. And then bowling :) am determined to have one house-planning-free day!

kiwijesta · 05/03/2011 07:05

The not so fun stuff: tidy the very messy house!
The fun stuff: hang out with DD (8 weeks) and DH for the first time in ages (not that I don't like visitors)
The super fun stuff that may or may not happen: DH takes DD out and I have 'me' time and sleep and/or scrapbook
And all the normal stuff, supermarket, cooking etc

MissyKLo · 05/03/2011 07:17

Housework! Laundry.
Manicure. Lunch out with the kids.
Afternoon nap with the kids!
More play with the kids, out on bikes etc
Snuggles on sofa with DH whilst watching tv

Sunday: Zumba class! Kids go swimming. Eldest has a birthday party. Lunch somewhere! Home to catch up on house stuff whilst DH plays with kids. Tea time kids bath time and crash on sofa when they are asleep!
