Even though I've never had a regular 9-5, and I've always managed to land weekend shifts.. (and I'm not even working right now due to maternity leave!) I still get that Friday feeling! ;)

What's everyone doing this weekend??

I am taking DD swimming, then to Horton farm, then going to visit some friends for dinner.
Then Sunday I'm going to Chessington Zoo!

(two animal activities in one weekend!)

Anyone else??

Wow, I must do more with my weekends, seems everyone else does Confused

This morning I have the farrier coming to my horse, and always have the usual horsey mucking out etc stuff to do.

This afternoon DD has a ballet class, and we need to go into town to buy a present.

Tomorrow - birthday party with said present, that is all.

Ormirian · 05/03/2011 09:45

DH is on the coach to London to see West Ham play Stoke (I think Hmm)

We need to buy a b'day present from DD's friend and my mum so we're off shopping - unfortunately the DC want to go by train so a simple shopping trip has turned into an expedition of epic proportions Grin Still it'll be fun.

Tomorrow - Don't know. Might venture out on a run for the first time in weeks.

valleyqueen · 05/03/2011 10:04

Washing, ironing and shopping.

Dd is having a sleepover tonight so I will probably hibernate in my room with the tv and my laptop.

TooManyBlossoms · 05/03/2011 10:07

Finishing my essay that's due in on Monday
Taking mountains of flat pack furniture boxes/old laminate floor to the tip
Finishing fitting skirting board then painting it
Putting up blinds and cleaning windows
Plus all the usual weekend cleaning/washing

Oh the glamour...

brightermornings · 05/03/2011 10:15

I am meeting up with a friend and her dd's this afternoon at an indoor play area with my dd. I'm hoping my headache doesn't want to come.
Then I'm going to try and hunt down a copy of glamour magazine with the free clinique all about eyes.
Tomorrow my ds is playing football then it's my friend's dd2's birthday so we're going round in the afternoon. In between that housework and maybe put more stuff on ebay.

feedthegoat · 05/03/2011 10:17

Just about to start a game of monopoly.

Taking ds to softplay this afternoon with sil and dn. Takeaway in front of tv with dh tonight.

Tomorrow ds is at a 5 th birthday party in the morning. We'll probably be at Tesco in the afternoon.

QueenOfTheMadhouse · 05/03/2011 10:27

We are either going to Eureka science museum or Blackpool zoo, we have half an hour to decide...

Imcominghome · 05/03/2011 10:27

Swimming with dc

Park with dc and dog

Lunch out one of the days

Cinema to see Alpha and Omega for £1 each! How good is that? Just discovered these weekend showings of older kids films at our local vue. Not going to pay full whack anymore, just wait and go when they come to these showings.

Running if ex comes to have kids

Shodan · 05/03/2011 10:27

Lunch today at my PILs. Takes up most of the day.

Then tomorrow I will either a) give in to ds1 who wants to go shopping, which means lunch out too or b) bully reluctant DH, reluctant Ds1 and hyper ds2 out for a Nice Walk somewhere. With lunch out. One day every weekend at least I am released from the cooker.

However, given the weather, it will probably be option a). DH was brought up in SA and doesn't see the point of a Nice Walk. You either walk to somewhere or you get kitted up in Lycra and do it Properly.

izzybiz · 05/03/2011 10:28

Im leaving Dh at home with the Dc today while I go off to Windsor for the night with friends!

I cannot wait, lunch, shopping, and a very drunken night out Grin finished off by waking up naturally tommorrow morning! (Not at 5.30am by 2 yo Ds!)

Lovely!

Meglet · 05/03/2011 10:28

Slobbing about round the house in pj's.
Wandering to the library.
Driving to mums at some point to collect old kids toys for next weeks NCT sale.
Staring at my veg seeds willing them to grow.

northwestnutrition · 05/03/2011 10:36

Sitting on here Cleaning, going to the cinema to see 2d gnomeo and juliet (hate 3d), writing some lectures I have to do - nutrition in adolescence is first, a few diet plans and handouts for clients, bit of networking, completing an assignment, boring household chores, Thats all really.

TroubledPrincess · 05/03/2011 13:58

Watching a film with ds, then taking him to the gym and swimming, walking the dog then hopefully some home-work. Tomorrow ds has rugby in the morning then a nice chill out afternoon.

BelligerentGhoul · 05/03/2011 14:02

Coffee with friends after work yesterday for a good moan!

This morning - a lie in then went for a coffee and to Waitrose and to collect my World Book Night books.

This afternoon I've got some work to do and then will make a curry and various bits to go with.

Film (don't know what) and Baileys this evening.

Tomorrow - going into town. The girls need party outfits and I need new straighteners. Dp will probably buy more strange looking running trousers.

We will probably have a coffee and a mooch in the art gallery to break up the shopping!

HecateTheCrone · 05/03/2011 14:02

been to sainsbury's this morning, and took the children to mcdonalds an organic salad bar for lunch, where they feasted on fries and shakes free range carrot sticks and celery

Now I am spending a bit of time on here, while I am supposed to be cleaning up. Polish a surface, read a thread, polish a surface, read a thread [grin. then I will be making chapatis, then helping the kids with their homework then, I dunno. back on here I suppose Grin
