i'm 33 atm,34 in the autum

dd is 3.7

we have decided to ttc a second child

tried in feb, no luck, started period today
feel a bit sad, but its made my mind sure thats what i want now, in a weird way

i don' think i want to try next month, as i think i'd find it hard having a xmas baby

don't want to try the month after as we are going abroad end of june and don't fancy being 2 months pg on holiday, as thats when i had serious sickness last time with dd.

so will wait till may or june to ttc again.

do you think this is a bit shallow?
i suppose if we had been ttc for a long time i'd probably carry on regardless
but as we have only just started..

oh yes i'm fully aware that it may never actually happen

i will never be more than 99.9% sure

there is going ot be a large gap anyway, if if i was pg right now

Sounds fine to me OP

Well if you're being unreasonable, I'm being unreasonable with you

I was going to take this month and possibly next off to avoid a Christmas baby too.

In the event though I got a slipped disc and have had to stop TTC until I stop rattling with painkillers and muscle relaxants

carriedababi · 03/03/2011 17:34

looks like there will be a few of us going for it in may then!

slipped disc sounds painful, do youneed an op?

It's been bloody awful. But better now (as in better than before, not completely better). Which means that hopefully I won't need an op, although it was talked about as a possibility at one point.

oh glad its better now.

back pain is terrible
