I love going to the cinema on my own it always feels really decadant.

I also work crap shifts (see threads elsewhere) and often have random midweek days off when all my friends are at work. Going to the cinema in the afternoon is great (and it is really cheap!)

Going to the cinema is a shit thing to do for a date or when you see frineds as you can't interact.

My first boyfriend was a selfish pig re films, it always had to be what he wanted to watch so some of the time I told him to bugger off and we saw seperate films.

Why not see a film yourself, you get to choose exactly what you want.
