dd had her first macds today.

she's already had nandos a few times, which is probably just as bad.

AM wondering how old she needs to be to chow down a full happy meal. With coke obviously.

She is dc2 btw

NinkyNonker · 26/02/2011 12:59

Ahhhh, sod the happy meal, give the poor love a big mac.

bubbleymummy · 26/02/2011 13:01

Lol - are you bored today armadillo? :)

Iggly · 26/02/2011 13:03

You waited until 6 months??!!! Surely you should have been feeding it pureed via a propped up bottle at tea time from 12 weeks?

TheArmadillo · 26/02/2011 13:04

lol we often take her to weatherspoons - she loves the chips there Grin Haven't tried her on the beer yet though Wink

dh dared me to start this to see what reaction I'd get.

they got shirty with me when i ask them to blend a bigmac for my dd when she was 3 months old, luckly someone said BLW is the way forward...but 9 months she had basically all the menu

TheMonster · 26/02/2011 13:24

Take the gherkin out, though. It's a choking hazard.

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 26/02/2011 13:25

It's so heartening to see parents taking such a responsible and forward-thinking attitude to their children's diet. I didn't do this, and am kicking myself as my children will only eat freshly prepared food - I mean, how unreasonable and dangerous is that?

allsquareknickersnofurcoat · 26/02/2011 13:26

DS had a chipshop chip yesterday, he loved it!! He cried when it was gone.
He is 5 months :)

BertieBasset · 26/02/2011 13:27

I hope you added extra salt. Md fries are crap without lots of salt

Bilin · 26/02/2011 13:28

How about a fag? It will make an interesting lifestyle for your DC.

allsquareknickersnofurcoat · 26/02/2011 13:30

To eat or smoke Grin

allsquareknickersnofurcoat · 26/02/2011 13:31

Dont forget though, feed your child what you want, but FGS dont put the coke in a bottle!!!

pigletmania · 26/02/2011 13:46

Well I can beat you all, my dd had a MacDonalds whilst still in the womb Grin

allsquareknickersnofurcoat · 26/02/2011 13:57

Confused Eeep, I didnt think of that! It must have been DSs sole source of nutrition. He drinks a lot too now, via my BM!!!

pigletmania · 26/02/2011 14:03

n chips, and KFC blimy

Doogle2 · 26/02/2011 16:22

I am shocked you are thinking about a full Happy Meal - don't you realise the toy could be a choking hazard? Wink

YunoYurbubson · 26/02/2011 16:29

AuntyPickleBottom - they can't blend one for you for health and safety reasons, but if you puree your own at home and take it in cold in a bottle they will give you some tepid water to warm it up in.

Every day I take an extra happy meal home with me to puree and take back the next day for lunch.

Hth.

LadyOfTheManor · 26/02/2011 16:30

I wish I lived near some sort of fast food outlet. I really fancy KFC.

Ho-hum. Pork chops it is. :(

KaraStarbuckThrace · 26/02/2011 16:31

YABVVVU. Take the poor neglected child to KFC for goodness sake!!
Just give her one of those boneless buckets to eat BLW style.

LadyOfTheManor · 26/02/2011 16:37

Forget your child, take ME to KFC.

mmsmum · 26/02/2011 16:45

YABU everyone knows pizza hut is much better for babies. The mess is fantastic for them to be creative with and you can start to teach them about triangle shapes. You are being very irresponsible with mcd's op. Shame on you. Do the baby a favour and get her a pizza!

at KFC - I have some standards don't you know.

She's already had a good go at gumming at pizza (asda's finest).

no pureering (sp?)- blw when we're out.

McDonalds is perfect for a six month old! Strawberry milkshake in to a bottle and you're sorted. Grin
