Glitter! It's fucking everywhere! House is covered, kids are covered, dog is covered, but worse, just went to toilet, looked down-looks like I've been vajazzled! Blush

I find it completely fucking annoying when people putter the glitter shapes inside birthday cards so when you open it showers all over the floor.

I love a bit of glitter, I'm a particularly pink girlie girl but I just like to know when the glitter is coming. I don't want a surprise amount on my clothes/furniture/carpet

Curlybrunette · 24/02/2011 22:27

put shapes

My son died April 1010. About a week before the 1st Anniversary a lot of glitter appeared on our fireplace, we have had no glitter in the house ever, no small children, I have not bought glitter for my grandchildren, I cleaned it up and a few days later it was back, it has not appeared again, a total mystery. I like to think it was a sign from my son. Then, I could me totally mad.

lavandes · 04/11/2011 23:37

That should read 2010. not 1010.

Moominsarescary · 05/11/2011 00:14

mrsD and Lavender* my nana keeps finding silver stars, we have no idea where they came from

Moominsarescary · 05/11/2011 00:20

lavandes sorry, stupid phone! Lovely stories I'm sure you are right and the glitter is being sent to you. I think my uncle is sending nana stars

startail · 05/11/2011 00:57

I rather like it although it does get in the joint in my extending dinning table when cards are being made. It then rains out when you pull it out to accommodate visitors.
DD2s glittery T-shirt is bad, but her sequin shedding next top is worst. Who thought gluing on thousands of sequins on top of each other would work!

TheQueenOfDeDead · 05/11/2011 03:41

Two words : Gliteriser Barbie.

Fucking glitter with a fucking fan.

We had to move house in the end.

runningwilde · 05/11/2011 06:29

MrsDV, what a beautiful sign from your daughter. That is just so lovely, I remember reading your threads about her and seeing her picture, what a beautiful girl and what a beautiful message to send you. X

runningwilde · 05/11/2011 06:31

Lavandes - another beautiful story. X

The best way to avoid glitter problems is to coat yourself in Vaseline or lard, then you need only remove that, et voila! The glitter is gone too. Hth.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 05/11/2011 08:46

If the very butch tomcat spends all night licking glitter off himself, he is going to do sparkly poos for ages and all the other cats will laugh at him! Grin

MrsDV - what a lovely story. Smile
