Glitter! It's fucking everywhere! House is covered, kids are covered, dog is covered, but worse, just went to toilet, looked down-looks like I've been vajazzled! Blush

I love a bit of sparkle.

glitterkitty · 24/02/2011 20:50

I love that.

MrsCrafty · 24/02/2011 20:52

I don't much care for your 'I really fucking' to be honest. It's glitter and I don't believe that it deserves the 'fucking'. If you had said that you ' really fucking hate cheating husbands' then I could understand buy why cheapen yourself by using 'fucking'.

I do despair at the language used these days. I don't think that people are just writing it either. Judging by the language that my son reports from a fairly nice faith school, the parents are all using it regularly.

MrsSnaplegs · 24/02/2011 20:54

Mrs D you've just made me cry again but in a good way Grin that's beautiful!

MrsSnaplegs · 24/02/2011 20:55

I mean the thought of your DD watching over your DS!

thefirstMrsDeVere · 24/02/2011 20:55

Hurray! I do love to make mumsnetters cry. Grin

glitterkitty · 24/02/2011 20:55

I do so deserve fucking.

Grin

We have a glittery house too.Except in this case some bright spark gave my two girls cans of spray hair glitter from the pound shop.

Furniture, curtains, rug, bedding, themselves, their little brother and our very butch looking tom cat.Except now he looks a bit like a drag queen tomcat. He sparkles in the light.

notnowbernard · 24/02/2011 20:56

MrsCrafty I imagined you saying that in an old-skool Blue Peter voice then Grin

Or are you Joyce Grenfall?

DaffadownDilly · 24/02/2011 20:57

What the fuck MrsCrafty?

Gleekfreak · 24/02/2011 20:58

DS always seems to have glitter in his hair which I usually notice while standing in queues, I then start to try and scrape it out and look round to see someone staring at me [grin}

This morning while leaving his Dad to supervise downstairs while I was getting ready to go out DS emptied a whole tube of red glitter form his MrMaker craft set and sat in it. We were going out and he had a glittery bum. Getting ready for bed he complained his winkle was sore and on inspection saw he also had a red glittery willy

Vajazzled! Grin Too funny.

But yes, indeed, glitter is pure evil. It isn't allowed in this house.

stealthsquiggle · 24/02/2011 21:40

at the drag queen tomcat. I am sure he will spend all night inside washing can carry it off as the latest look.

stealthsquiggle · 24/02/2011 21:41

I have occasionally "lost" particularly glittery creations between nursery and the car. Impressive slight of hand and distraction is required whilst walking past the nursery dustbins.

QuelleLeJeff · 24/02/2011 21:42

Toughasoldboots - you are personally responsible for the terrible state our sewerage system is in these days.

Gleekfreak · 24/02/2011 21:45

I did a "lost" thing into the recycling, but it got spotted as I tipped box into bin, DS told everyone at kindergarten that I had done it-and ON PURPOSE Blush

I really fucking love TheFirstMrsDevere as that was such a lovely story and it will make me tolerate glitter from now on.

Not like it, but tolerate.

Would a bath help, Gleekfreak?
