well ladies, ExP has revealed his cards somewhat. Looks like he is angling to gain residency.

Hullygully · 16/03/2011 10:50

Oh ffs Mimi. Is he thinking to trade residency for school fees? And then the secondary school of his choice near him?

Where is the thought of what's best for ds...?

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 10:53

No. He is refusing to pay fees. And has the cheek to say he is looking at schools near him for the immediate future.
Idiot. He doesn't have PR! he can't do it!

There are spaces at a nearby school, and I can sell it to ds as making friends he will go up to secondary with.

I am shaking. He has clearly got his parents on board, as I recognise ExPIL writing in the rather clear email he sent me.

Bastard.

MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 10:54

Poor poor ds, tomorrow will be his last day at school. It is going to traumatise him.

Hullygully · 16/03/2011 10:55

Does he have other reasons apart from wanting ds to live with him?

OP posts:
Hullygully · 16/03/2011 10:56

Mimi, it would only be one more term at his school, won't the school show mercy, offer bursary, anything?

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 11:01

they say no bursary, and will now go and beg the head.

Hullygully · 16/03/2011 11:03

Good luck. Offer to pay structured loan over long time period? I know a few parents who have pulled this off. Pore ol you, it is very unnecessarily grim. DS lovely new free school to go to all sorted. Dp is being an arse.

BeribbonedGibbon · 16/03/2011 12:24

What a wanker.

That is about all I can manage re insane ExP

Poor you mimi Sad You really are under the cosh at the mo and it's just not fair.

Good luck with the school x

CheerfulYank · 16/03/2011 13:42

Right then, he has moved to the top of the Slap List.

I'm so sorry, hopefully the head will be understanding. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help, Mimi. I know there isn't from 'cross the pond, but...I always like to offer.

I will expound on the wonder that is Minnesota soonest, hully. :o

MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 14:53

Well, I have put in my emergency application for school. Fingers crossed I hear soon.

Head isn't in today, so can't talk to her.

Am about to try and sting ds' godfather for some money, see if I can postpone the evil day until ds has got used to the idea.

Hullygully · 16/03/2011 16:02

Mimi, so sorry you're going through all this.

Just hang on in there until September. Somehow.

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 17:35

Ha Mimi triumphs!

I swallowed my pride and called ds' godfather, who immediately coughed up this terms fees

Bless bless bless bless.

ExP is rather muted. Though am rather cross he had already mentioned to ds about it.

Idiot.

MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 17:39

And cheerful, you are a Minnesotan Milk Maid of All loveliness. Let us give thanks in the cave to powers of JewBuLu (and godfathers) for this bounty...

I saw a band called the in my teens ullulators, most far out gig I have ever seen. Oddly enough one of their songs is called 'thump the hamster'

Mimi - I am so pleased for you, what a relief Smile

MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 18:14

Oh, poor Gerald!

BeribbonedGibbon · 16/03/2011 18:40

Ohhhhh sounds thrilling! spill Wink

My post went a bit squiffy, it was a band called the ullulators and I was in my teens. Confused

MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 18:46

I know what you meant Gibs!

can't really go into details...not my story, and I exagerate for effect.

But lovely lovely man. So grateful.

BeribbonedGibbon · 16/03/2011 19:21

Your discretion only makes me love you more mimi.

I am so pleased for you Smile How great was it to tell ExPrat to shove it?

MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 19:34

You are so sweet Gibs.

There was a small moment of satisfaction.

And a tiny bit of me is disappointed that I haven't just scooped ds up and plopped him into school near me. And be done with ExP nonsense. but of course, that would not have been the right thing for him.

Sigh. I suggested mediation to ExP, he has agreed and come up with a solicitor [hmm) which I will have to bop on the head.

Not my idea of mediation.

MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 22:00

mimi's fond imaginings of ExPrat's fate

MadameDefarge · 16/03/2011 23:31

or ecstasy, even.

CheerfulYank · 17/03/2011 02:47

Oh, I do love a good frolic!

Am seriously so, so pleased for you Mimi !

And no, before you pervs start in, I only mean squeeze as in "hug". :o
