i just think the sooner my family get out of this country the better. Its ridiculous. Human rights has gone mad . The prison system is ludicrous! The immigration laws are a joke. Britain has lost almost all the values we used to stand for. Where i live british people are a minority/ stranger in our own country its unbelieveable that it has got to this point. The 'democracy' we live in is far to leanient. I am disgusted that we allow such things as the burkha here i believe that like france, Britain should ban it. So much money is being spent to enable life to be better for those who come here and claim our benefits, translators etc and running the NHS into the ground.... aibu to wonder WHAT ABOUT US BRITS????

i just think the sooner my family get out of this country the better - YANBU. Off you pop. Maybe choose a country that uses a language without apostrophes and where the rules on capital letters are a little more leanient. Good luck.

The OP forgot to mention that we(Britian)are the laughing stick of the world and we are quickly becoming a thrid world country. Tirades like the OP seen on the Mail Online usally contain those classic one-liners Grin

SheikYerbouti · 22/02/2011 16:46

not to mention that the english is treated like secund class sitizuns in there own cuntry

EggyMcEggMcSandwich · 22/02/2011 16:52

oops, stock not stick Blush

nenevomito · 22/02/2011 16:53

Not sure why democracy deserved the ' ', but you are absolutely right. What about us Brits!

By British, I mean that anyone who was born in the United Kingdom and carries a British passport. Like, British Muslims, for example. Someone really ought to think about how they have to put up with someone ranting narrow minded bollocks about what they choose to wear.

That is what you meant by British isn't it? Not some narrow minded bigoted view that only included people who happen to be born in this country who are a little pasty due to lack of sunshine?

AintMissBeehiving · 22/02/2011 16:54

Grin @ Sheik

SheikYerbouti · 22/02/2011 16:59

nenevomito · 22/02/2011 17:03

Now your talking Sheik.

Burger and chips
Sos n chips
Sos Egg n chips
Egg, sos bacon n chips.

All good Spanish food.

SheikYerbouti · 22/02/2011 17:09

none of the piella shit for me bab

ScramVonChubby · 22/02/2011 17:11

My sister and I once sat in a class (Sociology, somewhat inerestingly) laughing out little socks off about a friend who claimed they had come back from a Spanish holiday a stone lighter becuase they didn;t serve 'real food' anywhere.

A fellow student got up and yelled at us that she didn;t pay to go to psain for the Spanish, she paid for sun and English speaking people.

She walked out and never came back.

Unusually for me I still don't feel bad. Mystified, yes.

Why on earth would anyone go away and want to eat frgging chips over a nice Paellla or some lovely grilled fresh fish / whatever lcoal delicacy there is?

When they ban the burkha I will start to wear it. As a Bristish born Christian. I don't expect anyone telling me what I can wear (as long as fanjo and norks covered)- why would I want to do the same to someone else? Cloth, that's all it is. Cloth. Not woven from TNT or newly sacrificed Christian missionaries, cloth.

mamaLou13 · 22/02/2011 21:29

The reason i am wanting to move to Austrailia is because it is a country which is run much better than this one. said your right i did forget those things. I just think that the government need to worry far more about the state of our NHS and various other issues with the country than things they seem to be focusing on !

figcake · 22/02/2011 21:42

Yes - that would be a great choice for you, actually (recalls comment about "coons" made in the course of normal conversation on Australian breakfast TV)
