It was early.

I was tired and hormonal and grumpy.

He asked me for ID Shock

I said 'Fuck off. I'm 36,'

He looked a little taken aback.

I might have given him a snog, I look about 86 at the moment due to flu and sleep deprivation.

He works in a garage, I'm sure he's heard worse :)

parakeet · 21/02/2011 21:30

No need to boast about it :)

Vallhala · 21/02/2011 21:32

What on earth were you buying at the garage early in the morning that required ID?

Brake pads?

An Alfa Romeo keyring?

Not...

AuntBeast · 21/02/2011 21:32

FabbyChic · 21/02/2011 21:33

Summerbird73 · 21/02/2011 21:34

YABU - i would have snogged him Grin

AtYourCervix · 21/02/2011 21:35

he wasn't attractive and i was in no mood to be snogging anyone.

OP posts:
AtYourCervix · 21/02/2011 21:36

thinking about it he may have been trying to be funny. possibly.

OP posts:
scurryfunge · 21/02/2011 21:37

AtYourCervix · 21/02/2011 21:39

and did he serve you? quickest way to not getting served if i was him.

AtYourCervix · 21/02/2011 21:47

I'm no prude and do enjoy the odd profanity but I'd never swear at anyone like that!

mayorquimby · 21/02/2011 21:49

jesus. he's got no self-respect then.

BoneyBackJefferson · 21/02/2011 21:49

Congrats on spoiling someones day.

AtYourCervix · 21/02/2011 21:50

it was a reflex action - sort of disbelief 'no way-fuck off' rather tahn an agressive 'fuck off you fool and hand over my fags now.'

OP posts:
HecateQueenOfWitches · 21/02/2011 21:52

Yes, I think you were a bit. I know it's annoying but it's their job on the line. People actually get fired for not following company policy, no matter how ridiculous. And it's not nice to be sworn at when you are just doing your job. I'm sure he thinks the policy is as stupid as you do

AtYourCervix · 21/02/2011 21:53

i am fairly obviously not under 18. i think he might have been taking the piss.

OP posts:
LessNarkyPuffin · 21/02/2011 21:54

They do ask out of habit sometimes. Grin at the reflex swearing.

HecateQueenOfWitches · 21/02/2011 21:56

X-post, slightly less unreasonable if your tone of voice was friendly/disbelieving rather than aggressive.

am shocked at you being a potty mouth though, I always thought y'were a laydeeeee Wink

chasingrainbows · 21/02/2011 21:57

if someone asked me for ID id be flattered & want to snog them out of gratitude.

RevoltingPeasant · 21/02/2011 21:57

AYC are you a member of the A-team?

'Fuck you fool' Grin

AtYourCervix · 21/02/2011 21:58

also said chappy has served me with deisel twice weekly for about the last 4 years so he's either very short sighted or extraordinarily unobservant.

I was WELL happy when both my partner and I got IDed to buy wine this evening! May have been an elderly lady cashier, but it still counts! (we are 33 and 31).

HecateQueenOfWitches · 21/02/2011 21:59

or he was flirting with you...
