It was early.

I was tired and hormonal and grumpy.

He asked me for ID Shock

I said 'Fuck off. I'm 36,'

He looked a little taken aback.

I might have given him a snog, I look about 86 at the moment due to flu and sleep deprivation.

He works in a garage, I'm sure he's heard worse :)

it was a reflex action - sort of disbelief 'no way-fuck off' rather tahn an agressive 'fuck off you fool and hand over my fags now.'

Yes, I think you were a bit. I know it's annoying but it's their job on the line. People actually get fired for not following company policy, no matter how ridiculous. And it's not nice to be sworn at when you are just doing your job. I'm sure he thinks the policy is as stupid as you do
