..What Non-Presents did your DH give you this morning..

.. My darling and generous DH 'forgot' my presents. Apparently they are all in his desk at work. FFS.. At least this year I was clever, and give his nice presents to him this morning, so he knew what he had to match/live up to.
Anyone else get nothing? Oh, and if you DID get thoughtful and expensive presents.. Don't come here and gloat.Envy

Apart from the puke wake-up call from DS and having to deal with it myself as DH is away.

I got some undies (last week, which I demanded I choose and try on first as I am a bravissimo girl and wanted them to actually fit).

This works well for both of us, as he will get some sex (at some point when the puking has stopped) and I get new undies that actually fit.

DH got me a nice card and a book of 'love vouchers'. Still sealed in their plastic wrapping. I'm not sure he's quite got the hang of what they're about....

(I did point out to him that this was hardly a present for me if I have to fill them out and then give them to him, but he didn't agree...)

However he did shave off the horrible beard he's been growing since Christmas and is now my nice smooth-cheeked boy again.

I made dp a card and painted him a picture. Probably cost £1 in total max? The nice cards were knocking on a fiver and that's the price of a large kebab fgs!! Wink

Dp is away with his adult dd until this afternoon, they go to the lakes annually. He left me a lovely card (bought though Hmm Wink) and has got me something though I told him not to. Plus he's cooking me a meal tonight. I'm full of cold so will get pampered and seen as I haven't seen him since Friday a shag. A stinking cold can't keep me down Grin

Op sorry you and your dh aren't doing so well Sad I think I'd have stuck the head torch somewhere you wouldn't see the light! Shock

Oooh I SO win!

My DH left me yesterday, six weeks after my miscarriage.
So this valentines morning I laid in bed sobbing whilst the cat chewed my hair.
Oh and I've got an absess in my tooth and haven't eaten for 4 days.

Happy fucking valentines day!

Not yet- I don't have an nhs dentist and my private dentist shut down so I'm a bit buffered, I live near a dental a+e though so I'll pop over later.
My face has swollen up like I'm hiding a golfball and weirdly some of my teeth seem to have moved.
I just want DH back :(

I put a V card and a sexy mug in his towel which is inside his case that he takes away with him. DD made her daddy a card at school in golden time on Friday, which i also put in his bag. Grin
OH phoned at 6.30am to say happy V day. I must admit i wasn't very happy as DD has been up most of the night coughing ( has a bad cold) & asthma playing up.
I also had a few texts from him too.
Will go out for lunch somewhere nice Friday.

ds2 loved ferrero rocher too though hasn't bought himself any. He has loads of money saved yet doesn't bother spending it, unlike ds1. Although to be fair he has saved £200 towards the 3DS.

Mine didn't even say Happy Valentines Day Hmm

Not that I care about valentines as such but this day two years ago I was driving my newborn ds2 home from SCBU by myself after the week from hell so the 14th is supposed to be a bit special as it was the day our older kids met him for the first time and our family was complete.

4 year old ds1 however woke me up by climbing into my bed, saying 'Happy Balantines Day Mommy' and proceeding to count to 109 (no, I don't know why either)

i think some people are boring that dont bother with it,you dont need to buy anything just a nice romantic day for couples.
lol at the lame excuses "were saving for a holiday"...even if you did buy a card(you can get a nice one for £3) then really is £3 gonna damage your holiday fund?? Each to your own tho!
