Just because she has got thunder thighs? Yes, I know I am, but I would love to put a pashmina round her to save her from the deep humiliation she will feel one day when she looks back on those early days.
Plus she almost destroyed a certain song for me.

No. I don't dress like that.

TryLikingClarity · 11/02/2011 22:43

have a Biscuit

Why did the Daily Mail even think to write this article? She is a 20something-year-old pop singer, not quite the crumpet of their reader circle.

Also, it's not a matter of what you, I or a journalist think about her body that matters. If she is happy then that is all that matters and she can wear what she pleases.

If you don't like it, don't watch her, don't listen to her and save your energy.

This isn't the secondary school playground, we don't need to be so catty about how people look.

figcake · 11/02/2011 22:43

I think people can be overly charitable to the detriment of the person/cause they are trying to represent/uphold

I don't mind her showing off her curves and I thinks its healthy outlook.

I do think she became a Diva very early on though and got well above herself.

The wigs are horrendous.

MummieHunnie · 11/02/2011 22:44

I have just had a look at the links, the dm are not keen on her are they?!

cornsilk · 11/02/2011 22:45

they are not keen on women though are they

HecateQueenOfWitches · 11/02/2011 22:45

not a nice figure?

really?

are you bloody kidding me?

seriously something wrong with you if you think she doesn't have a good figure.

MirandaGoshawk · 11/02/2011 22:46

I think she looks healthy & normal, but would like to see her, and Beyonce and the rest, cover up a bit more, only because of Hecate's Pornification of women. Why do female singers/dancers always have to be 'sexy', which equates to being half-naked?

MummieHunnie · 11/02/2011 22:47

I think she looks so much better in the nice lbd's in the links from QueenofWitches.

pagwatch · 11/02/2011 22:48

It is really worrying that so many people now don't understand that people are different physical types. And that if you are not thin, like a model or an actress, by natural body type or dieting and exercise, but instead are a strong muscly build like an athlete or a dancer like beyonce for example, then you are fat.

I had to talk my dd through body types, muscle rather than fat etc. She is 8. Who would think adults needed the chat too.

MsKLo · 11/02/2011 22:49

Can you hear what you sound like?

Preeeeeetentiousssss

Who made you the queen of style and asked you to come along and teach us what is right and wrong to wear?!

Bloody hell. Concentrate on what you wear and I am sure she doesn't need or want your advice and is happy wearing what she wants!

figcake · 11/02/2011 22:50

I believe that it is known as The Fairground Mirror Syndrome.

I do not object to Beyonce dressing like that as I think she is beautiful, curvy etc and most people could not dispute that.

I would think she has a nice figure when it is at least partially clothed but she does not look good at all in lingerie.

OP posts:
princessglitter · 11/02/2011 22:50

She is lovely! God knows what you would think of my hips and thighs if you think hers are huge.

Plonker · 11/02/2011 22:51

Thunder thighs my arse

YABU

She's got a gorgous figure and can wear what the hell she wants ...

Deeply object? Really??? ffs Hmm

gaelicsheep · 11/02/2011 22:52

My problem with AB is her voice is good but not great and her songs are universally rubbish.

MsKLo · 11/02/2011 22:53

Well I think both beyonce and Alexandra look fab in lingerie. You are entitled to your opinion but it is only your opinion so at least write it like that and not like you are talking for us all

As you are not

Thank god

figcake · 11/02/2011 22:53

I think you are all being very cruel to her (as well as dishonest) in saying that she looks good dressed like that. She looks terrible and is doing herself no favours. If my DD had her body type and dressed in such a way, we would definitely have to chat about it.

OP posts:
cornsilk · 11/02/2011 22:55

You are taking the piss now figcake

MsKLo · 11/02/2011 22:55

Yeah I know plonker

I laughed at the twattishness of the phrase 'deeply object' too

pagwatch · 11/02/2011 22:55

So everyone who disagrees with you is being dishonest?

Ok. You are very smart.
No really

reinitindear · 11/02/2011 22:56

but it is extremely cruel to say that she looks fine. She looks hideous, she should not be dressing in a way that would make her the butt of all jokes.
Hideous? because her thighs are bigger than her calves? I think as a mother of an 11 year old dd who is in no way big is already worrying about her weightSad that she should in fact be congratulated for feeling confident about her shape and embracing her natural curves. She is in no way my choice of musical artist but at least she seems to have had the balls not to jump on the "I must get skinny" which Leona Lewis seemed to when she won.To say somebody looks hideous is a terrible thing.

MsKLo · 11/02/2011 22:56

Who do you think you are telling us all how to think?! Go and have a lie down dear and chill out.

Arse

JeremyVile · 11/02/2011 22:56

You soung thoroughly uptight.

And bored.
