I plan to wear cucumber ribbons in my hair tomorrow, an inspired idea weblette.

cobbledtogether · 04/02/2011 20:13

Pssssst. Anyone want a gherkin?

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 20:20

LauraSmurf · 04/02/2011 21:30

Helloooooo!
Just popping back to say no gherkins!

Cucumber ribbons are best plaited!!

Tomatoes are evil ( i am allergic, the juice burns my skin! )

OP posts:
Cherryonthetop · 05/02/2011 16:08

Lots of gherkin murdering dreams here.

slash slash.

cobbledtogether · 05/02/2011 16:28

any kind of pickled vegetable is at my mercy

LauraSmurf · 05/02/2011 16:35

Oh i have just realised the perfect victim!

The evil, despictable, detestible ....

PICKLED EGG!!

Mwahahahahahaha

OP posts:
weblette · 05/02/2011 20:43

One word, piccalilli

cobbledtogether · 05/02/2011 23:05

Noooooo! Not the Pickled Egg.

Kept in a jar for 40 years, released only to cause mayhem on a buffet....

thumbdabwitch · 06/02/2011 12:59

Silverskin onions are all right, I reckon...

cobbledtogether · 06/02/2011 15:56

Yes they are. So are capers.

Cherryonthetop · 06/02/2011 16:15

I prefer sardines me.

weblette · 06/02/2011 17:38

Not for the first time today have I wished that there was a boak emoticon on MN

cobbledtogether · 06/02/2011 20:31

On toast?

The sardines rather than the boak.

What about Smurfdines? They are blue, but in tomato sauce would look like fishy bruises.

thumbdabwitch · 06/02/2011 21:22

Capers are fab but tinned mackerel is nicer than sardines/smurfdines. We have lots of capers here...

weblette · 06/02/2011 21:53

As long as they're not in tomato sauce, that's utter vom.
You lot are slaying through simple bad taste.

cobbledtogether · 07/02/2011 09:12

I've not had tinned mackerel. Not even Smurf flavoured.

thumbdabwitch · 07/02/2011 09:23

Tinned mackerel in spring water, mashed up, on hot buttered toast - mmmmmmmmmmmm.
the best lunch/tea - far nicer than sardines, I reckon.

FerociousBeast · 07/02/2011 12:27

Smufs on toast are best, but you have to remember to take the hats off first, they are a bit chewy.

FerociousBeast · 07/02/2011 12:29

I mean smurfs smufs just sounds rude.

cobbledtogether · 07/02/2011 13:46

I'm partial to Spurf Fritters (thats chopped ham and smurf).
