Am very shame-faced that when I saw the name of that particular blogger I thought it was a porn site Blush so your new name really isn't helping Grin

Do you have a new fragrant yet crafty way to dispose of threads?

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 09:52

I could beribbon them to death. I could hurl them into my paddock. I could smother them in my booknook.

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 09:58

[skips past on the way to my Valentines table with new beribboned heart to add to the pile]

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 10:18

[makes new dress from curtains] la la la pottering merrily

weblette · 04/02/2011 10:27

You're just showing off now...

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 10:30

Me ? I never show off [bats eyelashes innocently, skips merrily to the paddock to collect snowdrops]

weblette · 04/02/2011 10:32

Poor ole Smurfy has no idea what she started...
Maybe she's allergic to bunting?

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 10:34

NOOOOOOOO she has to return I am making my peach cobbler and champers for lunch.

weblette · 04/02/2011 10:35

Will there be doilies? I do like a nice lace doily, simper simper.

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 10:46

Oh my ! I forgot the doilies [runs off to weave own doilies chewing own hair madly over my failure - wrings hands]

cobbledtogether · 04/02/2011 10:47

Peach Cobbler?

Will you be carving radishes for the buffet too?

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 10:49

[gnaws madly at fingers runs off to carve radishes]

halfcaff · 04/02/2011 10:53

So how do you actually go about killing a thread? I have just tried the dark wash on 'superquick' at 40 degrees and everything has come out quite clean. Will that do it?

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 10:59

halfcaff you are doing it all wrong you need a mighty weapon and an apron.

halfcaff · 04/02/2011 11:01

Doh! I was trying the stealth boring to death approach.

RunawayFishWife · 04/02/2011 11:09

Laura you need to join us on the thread killers thread, we are the masters of stopping a thread in its tracks Grin

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 11:34

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 11:36

weblette · 04/02/2011 12:00

Oooh ooh you're getting very fancy now. Did you knit that?

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 13:32

I have my own vinyard beyond yonder paddock darling Wine here have a glass

weblette · 04/02/2011 13:59

Now wondering what objects of doom could be carved from a radish...

dearprudence · 04/02/2011 14:04

Bear anyone?

cobbledtogether · 04/02/2011 14:28

Slash, slash, slash!

Tis I, Zorro, slayer of threads with Zeds.

Cherryonthetop · 04/02/2011 14:32

cobbledtogether · 04/02/2011 14:37
