should never contain:

Alcohol
Any squidgy fruit filling or fruit flavouring (other than orange flavour)

Mr Tigga says I'm impossible to buy for.

YABU I love orange cremes in Quality Street!

rolandweary · 31/01/2011 10:32

YABVVVVVVVVU

the green and blacks one with bits of sour cherry is amazing!

Do you shun cheese with fruit in as well?

Tsk

bubblewrapped · 31/01/2011 10:34

YABVU.. I love liquer chocs... Grin

ShatnersBassoon · 31/01/2011 10:37

YANBU.

Try Thorntons Metropolitan. They're much nicer than your usual Thorntons sickly confections.

Butterbur · 31/01/2011 10:38

YABU. Chocolate is chocolate. Except when it contains nougat or coconut. DH can have those.

MrsDeidreIppy · 31/01/2011 10:38

Alcohol- not acceptable

porcine · 31/01/2011 10:39

or caramel.....yuk

narkypuffin · 31/01/2011 10:44

Godiva's whole cherries (with stone and stalk intact) bathed in kirsch and dipped into dark chocolate.

ariane5 · 31/01/2011 10:46

I dont mind any sort of chocolate. except brazil nut ones.but only because im allergic! if i wasnt id eat them too!

PorkChopSter · 31/01/2011 10:48

No coffee, no alcohol, no large lumps of any additional material, no spices.

I can tolerate pissing around if it involves praline, orange or mint.

The Thorntons pick your own chocolate boxes are a godsend.

GeraldineAubergine · 31/01/2011 11:00

Thorntons chocolate mice are lovely. Not sure if they have actual mice in.

LadyThumb · 31/01/2011 11:04

The only chocolates worth eating are Galaxy and Ferrero Rocher. ANY chocolate with orange in is a definite no no!

My brother is particularly fond of chocolate that contains chili, or other unacceptable combination, the more bizarre the better! But he has yet to try Marmite chocolate.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 31/01/2011 12:20

Mint chocolate is divine, so is terrys chocolat orange so is a plain one with a whole cherry in minus the stone.
I don't really like chocolate (which is unfortunate given that we've lived in switzerland and Belgium), but I do like that sort.
And matchmakers.

justcarrots29 · 31/01/2011 12:41

Chocolate is the devil and it needs to be banned. I am getting too fat Blush. If only I were more fussy like you lot!! Grin

NinkyNonker · 31/01/2011 12:56

Yanbu. Definitely.

DrSeuss · 31/01/2011 12:59

Alcohol chocolate is bad

Mint chocolate is bad

Orange/strawberry/coffee chocolate is good.

AbsDuCroissant · 31/01/2011 13:09

Alcohol - yes
Squidgy fruit - yes
Fruit flavouring - no, especially if it's fake
Nuts - HELLS YEAH. Particularly the roasted hazelnut thingy that Lindt has brought out. AMAZING

AbsDuCroissant · 31/01/2011 13:10

And Galaxy? WRONG. It's much too sweet

Vallhala · 31/01/2011 13:15

I don't care about the content but I do wish that dairy-free chocolate tasted nicer. :(

lightlyscrambled · 31/01/2011 13:17

Definitely no fruit or alcohol. Yuk-de-yuk.

Green & Black's Caramel Milk Chocolate used to be my chocolate heaven. Then they stopped making it for a while, then brought it back but it has CHANGED - the chocolate is now sickly and the caramel no longer has the pinch of sea salt that made it so fabulous.

Now I'm all cross with them again for ruining it Angry

Marlinspike · 31/01/2011 13:17

GREEN AND BLACKS MAYA GOLD!!!!

Sorry for shouting, but it's truly fab!

As are dark chocolate covered coffee beans...

Sn0wflake · 31/01/2011 13:19

Damn you! Now I have to find chocolate...

I love the G&B white chocolate but husband usually eats it all first.
