I'm a Dagenhamite...I feel I trump your Rotherhamite-ness totally.

Therefore it's your turn to get the Lambrini in Grin

BuzzLightBeer · 26/01/2011 00:43

Is anyone here so posh that they have their butler do their Mumsnetting for them?

No?

Just little old me then Grin

sarahitaly · 26/01/2011 00:49

I'm formerly posh by marriage.

Sort of.

In a name only kind of way.

If foreign, by marriage, posh points count.

lisad123isasnuttyasaboxoffrogs · 26/01/2011 00:51

yes i am thanks for noticing Grin

Rhinestone · 26/01/2011 00:57

Deciduous, my butler's a terrible typist so no.

This is the footman. Wink

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 26/01/2011 01:31

Yeah - have you read the 'I take my kids to school in my PJ's' thread?

Or I could get all serious on you and refer you to all the threads where people are on DRP's and can't feed the kids this week....

There are some people on here with money and some others who think they are posh - but the majority are certainly not posh unless you count 'not going out in your PJ's' posh [bgrin]

LittlePushka · 26/01/2011 01:45

What kind of things would indicate "posh" to you?

Katey1010 · 26/01/2011 01:55

Croydon, beat that.

InnocentRedhead · 26/01/2011 02:40

The advert for Boden at the side says it all really... Do people who shop there really need 10% off.

All i can say is i'm originally from Wakefield, the one and only home of Chloe Victoria of 'Snog, Marry, Avoid' and 'XFactor' "fame". I have now taken a side step and a resident of Huddersfield Hmm

Stac2011 · 26/01/2011 02:47

glasgow?! And definately not the posh bit lol.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 26/01/2011 02:50

Really?

This sort of thread again?

Why can't everyone just accept and embrace diversity.

You've really lived shelter lives if you didn't realise there are people out there who earn nothing, £10k, £100k and £1m, oh and they're all allowed opinions and we can probably learn something from each of them - amazing innit!

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 26/01/2011 03:51

Holly - because if it worked like that, MN would only have 3 threads a day!! [bgrin]

walkinZombie · 26/01/2011 15:42

Holly- sorry to offend didnt mean to

I just noticed a lot of threads bout nannies/prvate schools etc

feel like a fish out of water

Well I'm pretty scummy so you're in good company with me! Grin

wonderstuff · 26/01/2011 15:46

It is very posh and very middle class - but everyone denies it and will tell you how terribly poor they are, there are people on here who can barely afford to shop organic these days.

I'm from Basin'stoke
nuffink posh bout me.

ILoveItWhenYouCallMeBoo · 26/01/2011 15:46

what, you honestly think i would allow my butler to venture onto MN. he would be hogging the PC everyday. i would have to clean my own toenails in the bath!!! Shock

Darnsarfupnorf · 26/01/2011 15:47

scabby end of liverpool...i beat you all! Grin

but i am from the country from a posh lil rural village so i even out a bit :p

GMajor7 · 26/01/2011 15:47

Eh? It's totally normal to live in a detached house, drive a 4x4, privately educate your children, go on 2x foreign holidays per year and have a nanny...isn't it? Smile

ILoveItWhenYouCallMeBoo · 26/01/2011 15:47

"It is very posh and very middle class - but everyone denies it and will tell you how terribly poor they are, there are people on here who can barely afford to shop organic these days."

HAAAAAA

SecretNutellaFix · 26/01/2011 15:48

Posh? Nah, I'm living in Welsh Valleys area, me.

Furthest from Posh you can get, like.

GMajor7 · 26/01/2011 15:51

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/1121847-Does-anyone-have-problems-using-the-Boden-website-from-their-iPad

Fucking hi-larious Grin

Deny, deny, deny - but you know it's true!

wonderstuff · 26/01/2011 15:52

But really, I swear to you MN does NOT represent diversity. It is very middle class - I know about 20 posters will come on and tell me they've lived in council estates all their lives, but honestly the level of literacy on MN must mean that the average mnetter has a better than average level of education? I bet there are very few people here with no qualifications.
