Mumsnet is comparable to a very nice and comfy well fitted bra? Smile

Following the recent influx of people from 'other' forums, I decided to investigate at the source of the leakage and headed over to *mums(first time ever), only to come scrambling back when I was met by 'SISTERHOOD'? and 'HUN'? Confused
Am I right in saying that we prefer our bras unpadded?

I prefer my bra to be a little padded - just enough so there is no nipple pokage.

pjmama · 25/01/2011 20:18

I like it here. They don't mind if you say fuck. Grin

LadyPumpington · 25/01/2011 20:18

OP posts:
LadyPumpington · 25/01/2011 20:24

Was it really that 'nice' over there. I haven't succumbed to having a peak yet

LadyPumpington · 25/01/2011 20:43

Dunno didn't stick around long enough to find out the word 'hun' makes me Angry

SmethwickBelle · 25/01/2011 20:46

I regularly go on a forum very much of the "whatever hun" variety and I bloody love it, probably as I've been on it since DS1 was a twinkle in his daddy's eye. I like mumsnet too but don't love it. But I'm still a relative newbie here.

LaWeaselMys · 25/01/2011 20:47

I am too lazy to look at other forums. I like what I like!

I also like a lightly padded bra, had long nips before a baby chewed on them for a year now it's bloody ridiculous.

LadyPumpington · 25/01/2011 21:12

Smethwick don't you find it sickeningly sweet?

OP posts:
SmethwickBelle · 25/01/2011 21:38

Nope LadyPumpington, but over the last four years I've been on meets with many of them and met more than a dozen of them in real life and so it isn't a bunch of strangers, it's real women, doing their best, just like here actually :)

LadyPumpington · 25/01/2011 22:46

Okay must be just me then

sorry,i thought id be okay...Blush

ILoveFrogs · 26/01/2011 10:01

I must admit mumsnet doesn't deserve the rep it gets, I came over from another forum ( not the one in the OP tho) and expected you all to be a bit mad but I have been pleasantly surprised. There are a few WTF posters and I do roll my eyes at some of the threads but mostly you are an ok bunch and give out very helpful advice, I'm hooked now!

The many acronyms still sometimes have me scratching my head though.
