He is. I have noticed a correlation between spot outbreaks and glumness and also suspicion. Usually he and I get along lovely and chuckle away together, but at the mo he keeps asking me why I've got "that face" on and what it means.

I suggested that my face is the same, but his perceptions are askew, and also mentioned the gloom and spots and told him he had PMT, he is quite pleased with the idea.

We still have that with ds - the filter thing. Ds1 thought we were disappointed in him. I was so upset. Obviously couldn't make it about me but so sad that he could think that. Told him(again!) how proud and how much we love him.

DS asked me yesterday if I hated his ukelele playing and that he didn't mind, I could say so. I was v puzzled, turned out he'd read an email where I said to someone that he was delighting us all with hsi newfound ukelele skills. Had to explain that as parents we're not allowed to say, my ds is a staggering genius who learnt the uke in two days, we have to make mock. Ahh.
