So stop already with the festive emoticons. For a while there I thought Xmas Hmm was a new MN phrase I was not a part of and I hate being left out. So stop with the effing and let go of Christmas!

I didn't make much use of the festive emotions anyway.

melpomene · 05/01/2011 20:19

It's twelfth night tonight, so Christmas isn't over yet...

I took any Christmassey down on boxing day!

OpenToLawSuits · 05/01/2011 20:24

anything*

Serendippy · 05/01/2011 20:29

Sorry Jajas didn't make myself clear. I was berating all those who hadn't noticed that they had gone and were still typing Xmas Blush instead of Blush living in denial!

While we're about it, the remaining xmas names need to be gone by tomorrow! Grin

Ha ha! I hadn't noticed that they had gone but I'd stopped using them because anything christmassy starts to depress me after Christmas! I feel all sad that it's all over and it's still cold and miserable outside!

JamieLeeCurtis · 05/01/2011 20:46

Maybe we should have all January emoticons. They would all look like this Sad though (S.A.D.)

BaroqinAroundTheChristmasTree · 05/01/2011 20:46

YABU It's only 11 months and... damn, where did I put my Christmas ticker?

ENormaSnob · 05/01/2011 20:59

Does this mean all Xmas food and drink must be consumed tonight?

WanderingSheep · 05/01/2011 21:01

I think we do get burns night smileys. They are little men with tartan hats on, or they were last year iirc.

12th night is tomorrow, (6th Jan) so Christmas is not technically over for another day.

Sorry Grin

onepieceoflollipop · 05/01/2011 21:14

Baroqin don't stress yourself. I still have cards up Xmas Grin - that was deliberate btw Wink

I think you are christian rather than superstitious aren't you? (unless I am mixing you up with someone else)? whatever is s'posed to happen if you are late taking the decorations down is myth/superstition which is a bonus for those of us who are lazy busy. Grin
