Ab-so-fckn-lutely love this thread!
So many No way?! Me Too! moments, and good tummy moments, where you read the post, and say "awwww" in your head. Smile

(suddenly unsure, but going for it anyway smile) here goes:
1)
I have moved to/lived in , albeit some for very short times, 50 places. I have lived in a tent, in a boxcar, a trailer home, 2 different log homes, townhouses, apartment buildings, and single family homes, 12 foster placements, 17 schools, and 2 yrs of home schooling.
I think it has played a huge role in shaping my personality, both good and bad. Still occasionally struggling with it Sad but learning to use my own skills to cope has gone a long way towards making things better Smile
2)
My first real business started when I was 14,giving horseback rides at a local family-style camp ground.
In the summer, my friends and I would ride our horses into town (about 10 kms away, pop. 250 )for treats, and people would always ask for a ride, or to pet the horses. I decided to offer my services (and that of my horse) for a small fee. I got a weekly thing going with a camp ground, where I would show up and take the campers for a ride around their fields (with me walking the horse), or let the campers sit on the horse and get their photos taken. I couldn't keep up, so I "hired" my friends Grin It was great to earn our own money (about 80-100$/week)for something we would have done anyways.
3) Twice I have wished someone dead, and they have died right after. I know I didn't cause the deaths, but it still makes me feel shameful.

ItsMeYourCathy · 09/01/2011 10:31

I got someone expelled when I was at school by telling on them for something I later went on to do myself

I write poetry - much more when I was younger - but I never let anyone read it

I often sit and think about running away and starting again....

CalamityKate · 10/01/2011 14:43

JustForThisOne - it's quite rare, although not as rare as I used to think. I'm the only person I know that it happens to, but when I did a poll on another site, more people than I expected get it too.

JustForThisOne · 10/01/2011 22:54

CalamityKate...oooh no no I am fully aware indeed. Ive been known to ask friends if they mind cleaning with a tiny brush a venetian blind or a doubleradiator ...(never found anyone to agree tho) :-)

CalamityKate · 11/01/2011 00:47

I find it's not the same if you try too hard. I was telling a friend about it a while back and she said "Ooh, shall I read this magazine? Do you want to watch me? Are you getting it now...? How about now....?" etc etc and it didn't work at all :(

UntitledNo2 · 11/01/2011 01:16

Namethechange , well, Flea is lovely, first time I met him he was all chat, very down to earth. As is Chad Smith, he is a bloody giant, but very sweet and charming. Anthony Kiedis is, to be honest, kinda arrogant, but a fairly chatty guy (the most surreal experience I have had to date was standing 3 feet away from AK as he warmed up by singing Emit Remmus alone, with no backing music. Bizzare!)
John Frusciante is so very shy and quiet (but I adore him, my MN nn is the title of one of his solo songs)

Was all a bit mad - was just my life at the time, and not too long ago, bit now, working in an office and living on the outskirts of a large city, feels like it was a whole different life!

UntitledNo2 · 11/01/2011 01:18

Er, but now.

Spenguin · 11/01/2011 01:35

In the last couple of months, I've done Bikram yoga with Goldie and Gemma Arterton. Also, saw Justin Bieber and Bill Nighy as I exited the yoga studio (the day Goldie was in the class).

Bill Nighy was just lovely! Utterly gorrrrrge!
