I agree. They do a very good job. That section is a fount of knowledge. But there should really be a warning before any hardy soul enters pedants corner, something like "Beware, all ye who enter here".

Why do you think Blair and Brown made so many spelling mistakes? They came to MN for safe webchats, but they didn't dare enter the gates of hell that lead to pedants corner. They couldn't stand the heat.

Pedants' Corner is a fount of reason and reasonableness, as far as I can see.

OMG I have just ventured into the pedants' for the first time in 4 years. It's a cross between Jean Brodie and 1984. How very weird that this place exists.
