My brother tore his groin playing football on Monday, everytime I think about it I burst out laughing. DH says I'm cruel and immature

YABU to laugh at someone in pain.
However it is your brother so you are allowed to laugh at siblings who have injured themselves as long as you give some sympathy too.

He's your brother, it's part of the sibling thing. As long as there is sympathy there somewhere!

I too would laugh. But then I laughed at my DD when she fell out of the car into the snow. I am cruel, I know.

I find it funny because it must be so embarassing for him to explain to people why he's on crutches.

He's not that old he's only 23. I obviously hope he doesn't need surgery and that he recovers quickly but I still can't help laughing. It just seems payback for all the period mocking he has given me over the years.

Revenge for period mocking, how old are you. Having experienced both I've got to say that a torn groin makes a period feel like a picnic.
