paisley I'm well aware of that, I'm a teacher.
Considering the amount we have to do after school I would doubt we want to hold onto kids on purpose to annoy you.
More likely these are the kids who are a wee bit unorganised themselves at times! Stuff all over the floor, don't put their stuff on the right peg. lost glove, lost scarf, etc etc
And if my child's discipline was a problem I def no I wouldn't mind them being kept back a few minutes to be spoken to in private. Im sure parents would equally complain if the teacher was to speak to them in front of everyone.
Have them ready on time - you're a lazy bugger who doesn't fill all the teaching time.
Have them not ready on time - you're a disorganised cretin.
So as usual teachers can't do right in any situation.
Sorry to be a moan, I find the constant slagging of teachers annoying! If you don't like stuff that much, or can do it better. Devote your time to home schooling!
Paisley - sorry you got caught in my general cross fire. Your comment wasn't really that annoying to me. Just funny!
