MistressOfTheUniverse · 07/12/2010 21:20

What? Out of however many thousand females some of them like pink sparkles or refer to themselves by accepted female-indicative words? Shock

Call in the feminists!!

sparklepinkchickbabe · 07/12/2010 21:21

Oi, whats wrong with my name Angry

Firawla · 07/12/2010 21:22

maybe they like those things? what is wrong with that we don't all have to be manly in a pair of doc martens and camoflage do we?? dont see the issue here

Tolalola · 07/12/2010 21:23

Ah - I thought this was going to be another c*nt thread.

Animation · 07/12/2010 21:24

ivykaty - there's an "ivykaty" on the Strictly Come Dancing boards. Xmas Smile

porkchops · 07/12/2010 21:24

There was one called Nailpolish. Memorable, at least. I don't mind the sparkly crap but I do sometimes baulk when I see the Meat / Boobs / Fuck related names.

scurryfunge · 07/12/2010 21:25

What is your point?
I can only think in terms of glitter and kittens so please explain.

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/12/2010 21:25

lol at ivykaty 'hmm say bibbity bobbity'

My user name used to be kittylouise. How girly is that? No fucker ever spoke to me until I changed my name.

LadyViper · 07/12/2010 21:26

oh no another name bashing thread, i changed my last name because it was contained "mummy" and was told that it made people think I was stupid and wear disney fleeces

bibbitybobbitysantahat · 07/12/2010 21:27

My point is that I thought mebbe some 5 and 6 year olds might be in to sparkles and glitter and pink, but not all that many grown women.

OP posts:
JingleBelleDameSansMerci · 07/12/2010 21:27

I don't think anyone can complain about LadyViper - it's a bloody excellent name!

JamieLeeCurtis · 07/12/2010 21:27

my username used to be embroideryhoneytampon, but that was a bit of a mouthful

Ormirian · 07/12/2010 21:27

Well there aren't many fluffys.

How about fluffyasfuck? Nicely encapsulates feminity/post-feminism/irony with 'don't mess with me'.

I was obsessed with glitter in my late teens (used to cover myself in the stuff) so that's where my name comes from. I also consider myself a feminist. Don't see any contradiction there.

FluffyAsFuck · 07/12/2010 21:30

I like it

bibbitybobbitysantahat · 07/12/2010 21:30

Roffle at Fluffyasfuck!

OP posts:
ChateauDeLaShite · 07/12/2010 21:30

how's mine?

Ormirian · 07/12/2010 21:32

Looking good fluffy, looking good!

LadyViper · 07/12/2010 21:32

Even if someone is girlywirly that isn't mutually exclusive to being interesting, witty and intelligent!

Thanks Jinglebelle!

shitoff · 07/12/2010 21:32

Do you think I could do with something more fluffy

Ormirian · 07/12/2010 21:32

Ooh well, I have to say I think it is ladyv...

scurryfunge · 07/12/2010 21:33

Says the OP with a Disney Cinderella name....nothing pink, glittery or girly-whirly about that.Smile
