take all the minging coffee centred chocolates out of the selection box and dump them? Really they are gopping and their only redeeming feature is the bright orange foil paper that dd (3) can use for crafts. Sadly they seem to have gone over the top on bright orange coffee flavoured chocolates at the expense of the decent toffees.

I don't think am BU but await flaming. Grin

Send them to my husband. He loves the coffee ones Confused

I agree that they're kack though Grin

BusyMisstletoeIzzy · 06/12/2010 11:38

Send them here, I love coffee creams.

Indith · 06/12/2010 11:39

All coffee chocolates should die. As should all strawberry creams and anything that teams mint or orange with milk chocolate, as a general rule flavours should only be in dark chocolate.

YANBU

TwinklePants · 06/12/2010 11:40

Ditto (nom, nom... coffee creams) I actually struggle to find them as I know lots of manufacturers have stopped doing them, but I think they're lush!

BusyMisstletoeIzzy · 06/12/2010 11:40

Agree Indith, I bought mint Kitkats and they're milk chocolate, wtf? Was very disappointing.

ragged · 06/12/2010 11:42

YANBU! I hate the taste and smell of coffee. Desecrating chocolate with the taste of coffee ought to be a treasonable offence.
Xmas Grin.

TottWriter · 06/12/2010 11:44

Indith - except for mint flavoured whitce chocolate whivh is lovely. It cuts through the sweetness really well.

Agree that milk is for nuts and praline and nothing else though.

SuePurblybiltByElves · 06/12/2010 11:45

Love them. I have eaten all the strawberry creams out of the Roses tin we bought to make pressies already Xmas Grin
Send them to me and I'll send you the mingy caramels.

TheHoneydragonsInTheIvy · 06/12/2010 11:51

I have a special place where for £2 I can by a kilo bag of quality street that is just orange creams or just strawberry creams. If they did coffee too I would not be here typing this on account of being dead through fondant poisoning.

YABU

Figgypuddingrollsmuffintop · 06/12/2010 11:55

OOh the coffee cream debate!
Only probs peeps is that dd has decided that she simply must stick the orange foil paper to everything, so you can have the coffee creams sans cover!

(Mind you the cat seemed interested in the one that I had bitten into Hmm)

And if you are wondering I am stuffing myself now because I am getting festive AND I am bf so obviously need chocolate!

Indith · 06/12/2010 12:00

Mint white chocolate Tott? Yuck. Dark chocolate is the only chocolate. Milkis sometimes allowed in exceptional circumstances but white> No, and white with mint? The mind boggles it really does.

BusyMisstletoeIzzy · 06/12/2010 12:06

You can get white Terry's chocolate oranges too. Sounds awful to me.

glovesoflove · 06/12/2010 12:08

YABsoU it's hurting my soul. God I really want a coffee cream now :(

SuePurblybiltByElves · 06/12/2010 12:18

You can get fizzy choc oranges because Terrys has been bought out by Satan.

BusyMisstletoeIzzy · 06/12/2010 12:28

Xmas Grin Satan's Chocolate Oranges. "It's not Satan's, it's mine".

SuePurblybiltByElves · 06/12/2010 12:30
Xmas Grin
SantaIsMyLoveSlave · 06/12/2010 12:35

I like the coffee ones... but am not allowed them at the moment (gestational diabetes) so better send them to BusyMisstletoeIzzy.

I don't like orange or strawberry creams, though -- they too are the work of Satan.

Figgypuddingrollsmuffintop · 06/12/2010 12:39

The only really good chocolate are the Lindor chocolate balls...........

Chocolate orange - what is wrong with the normal bog standard one...yummy

btw have you ever had a leon brownie. OMG dark chocolate, squishy with a hint of orange from orange oil. You might sell a dc for one of them (and no I don't work for them otherwise I would be the size of 2 houses instead of 1)

I love strawberry and coffee creams but hate turkish delights they are nasty and we tale great pleasure in lobbing them in the fire to watch them burn.

Blatherskite · 06/12/2010 13:18

I stopped buying Revels when they put the mingy Coffee ones back in.

I need to know where Honeydragon's shop is though, I love strawberry and orange creams!

TheHoneydragonsInTheIvy · 06/12/2010 13:29

Figgypuddingrollsmuffintop and Blatherskite

Sorry, Its my works staff shop, a haven of cheap M&S food (fillet steak 4 pack for £3 Grin) and so on, and kilo bags of haribo and chocolates at stupid prices.

I work for Satan you see, and this is one of the perks Xmas Grin

notalone · 06/12/2010 13:30

The coffee ones are gorgeous. What is wrong with you woman? Grin

SnowMuchToBits · 06/12/2010 13:33

YANBU - coffee ones are disgusting. And while you're at it, could you remove all the coconut ones too.....

Figgypuddingrollsmuffintop · 06/12/2010 16:37

Ooh coconut, they always come in the flashiest paper as if that is going to make them any better Xmas Hmm, we usually lob them at dd as she loves them Xmas Blush
