...and have rotten eggs and tomatos thrown at them.
How dare they go on holiday and be allowed to have christmas presents etc
They should live on bread and dripping.

cupcakebakerer · 03/12/2010 19:42

Sure - it was all 'for the media'. Doctors are quite susceptible to backhanders don't you know. Strong argument you have there Starlight.

talk about witty banter!

cupcakebakerer · 03/12/2010 19:47

Still with the namecalling? How on God's earth would you know if I'm unpleasant based on one opinion put forward on a chat thread? As you were with the comedy routine.

no, you're doing well on your own. (btw, Ive not called you names, although its obvious that facts mean nothing to you)

do you think that all those people on DLA paid the gp's backhanders out of their £10 extra then?

wewishyouamerrylissiemas · 03/12/2010 19:54

oh, and i am basing my opinion that you are unpleasant on your unpleasant views that you have no qualms about posting.

Curiousmama · 03/12/2010 19:55

a judas chair was a torture device in the mideval times

www.medievality.com/chair.html

ful of short spikes so that sitting in it was like sitting in a bed of nails each spike closed the wound it made so blood loss was delayed and they also didnt penetrate vital areas

cupcakebakerer · 03/12/2010 20:05

It's funny that my posts are quite succinct compared to ramblings about the supposed inside workings of the medical profession - who you are now seriously accusing of taking bribes from the Government? And you know this how? Right I'm bored now, going to watch The One Show. Get on with the hilarity about veg.

wewishyouamerrylissiemas · 03/12/2010 20:08

cupcakes, i dont know if you are delusional or just... odd.

hmmm....

off you pop then.

I got the £10 Christmas bonus cupcake and do you know what? I work and pay taxes just like you do (I assume you do anyway). My son is autistic and dyspraxic - he gets disability living allowance that was a nightmare to claim - pages long, loads of medical evidence had to be sent (copy of OT report, physio report and paediatrician report).
Not everyone gets this £10 bonus (which by the way I was not expecting) - it went on the heating as the storage heaters in this upper flat on the sink estate where I have been placed by the council are expensive. So - to you and anyone else feeling aggrieved can I say Thank You - I am grateful for it.

Oh - and I am about to be housed in a newish two bedroom house by a housing association. Can you let me know where I make the grovelling thanks for that to the tax payer (oops - that includes me as I pay tax too).

pagwatch · 03/12/2010 20:22

Hahaha

The one show.

I haven't resorted to insults.

You are a cunt is my favorite insult.

expatinscotland · 03/12/2010 20:22

Workhouses for the lot of them! Kills two birds with one stone: show all those scroungers (hell, it doesn't matter if they're even on benefits or not, if they are poor surely it's a personal fault that deserves punishment) what hard work is AND solve the problem of the ingrates'-who-don't-know-their-place bleating about requiring shelter.

kate1956 · 03/12/2010 20:25

'one of the thousands who have recently had their disability benefit taken away following examination'

that's because the government has employed a private corporation - ATOS on an £80 million contract - to "assess" patients signed off by their doctors as too ill to work. Since it is paid by government to get people off ESA and onto Jobseekers allowance it is hardly neutral and has been found wanting many many times on appeal since it tends to say that people with terminal illnesses are fit to work - that's what happens when the profit motive becomes involved. It's yet another attack on the poor and vulnerable in society and an attempt to blame the ill and disabled for the crisis.
For anyone interested there is a petition to sign

www.gopetition.com/petitions/sack-atos-healthcare.html

although I won't be surprised if cupcakebakerer doesn't sign!

blushingm · 03/12/2010 20:53

i work but i also get dla - i suffer from mental health problems but if you saw me walking down the street you wouldn't know - i am clean/dressed/not acting strangely but i am disabled. not all disabilities are visible or obvious - heart problems/autism/mental health problems/cystic fibrosis/epliepsy, so are these the people who claim disability benefit but are obvsiouly not disabled Hmm

trust me - i'd rather be normal than have an extra £10

ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 03/12/2010 20:54

Oh fuck off.

Seriously. Xmas Hmm

blushingm · 03/12/2010 20:56

was that to me apocalypse?
