the blind date woman - said that her date should have offered to pay for her taxi. grrrr. bloody whipper snappers (she was 24-ish) undoing the hard work of so many others.

Serioulsy going off Sat Guardian (have been Gruniad stalwart for 20 years) - in the last month, the lead magazine articls have been about Cheryl Cole, Take That, Justin Bieber and J-Zee. I may as well get Heat.

But all Saturday magazines (and Sunday ones too) have slebby covers. I thought yesterday's was a really good issue, great investigation into the murder of the MI6 man, Gareth Williams, interesting piece about a documentary possible hoax, nice article asking people how much they earned. Week before had Jon Ronson talking to Justin Bieber and Ronson can write about anything he likes as far as I am concerned.

... but the Guardian didn't used to in such a big way. I agree though that yesterday's was good.

lalalonglegs · 21/11/2010 20:35

No but the Sunday Times Magazine didn't either and now they lead with a celebrity cover virtually every week. Editors think that's what people want. Sad

Bikerun - but all of those other weeks had some other good articles too, unlike heat!

BikeRunSki · 21/11/2010 21:16

I know Whoknowswhat. I don't read any other papers, so mo idea what they cover, and never read Heat and the like. It's just slebs 4 weeks on the trot is a bit much for me. I'll never give up the Sat Guardian, I enjoy Luisa Dilner too much.
