BeribbonedGibbon · 14/12/2010 13:03

If they are not dressed like olden folk and carrying laterns they can poke their renditions imo.

Time to sing 'have it away in a manger'
Sorry, scuffles feet. Have a great time Hully.

Merryhohohomammoth · 18/12/2010 14:53

Singing, deck the ballroom with boughs of holly, trala la. Tumble weed rolling across the floor. Not a beaux to be seen. nor any gumbo.

Jins · 18/12/2010 15:22

O, I wish I was in the land of cotton
Old times there are not forgotten
Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land.

Real life intervenes on occasion.

Don't you just get irritated by teenagers sometimes :(

Merryhohohomammoth · 18/12/2010 16:24

Err teenagers are annoying most of the time aren't they? tis their reason d'etre. What they up to Jins?

Jins · 18/12/2010 16:34

Oh they just know EVERYTHING and I know NOTHING

Hmmmph

(and they fight all the time and use bad language)

Merryhohohomammoth · 18/12/2010 16:37

Yup that sounds normal. how many do you have?

Merryhohohomammoth · 18/12/2010 16:49

Jins I have the answer. A little DIY project for yourself over the christmas hols. Make a set of stocks. Coax 'em in with alcohol, snap it shut. close the door and sing loudly.
Mine are way past teens now but I remember it well.
Go ahead and have a good grump, the ball room is emptyso you can yell.

Jins · 18/12/2010 17:15

I have two. The only redeeming feature is that they sleep more than the average person.

I may just bribe them with alcohol except one of them has become fussy about that now. Value vodka is just wrong apparently

I need to get my catsbumface in place for the festive season

MadameDefarge · 18/12/2010 20:39

The Christmas Ball! My, my Pa sure knows how to push out the boat, all those fine folks from Savannah, Charleston, Atlanta, how they will swoon at the marvels on offer at our splendid mansion!

Merryhohohomammoth · 18/12/2010 21:03

I will just cuff my pc wench around the ear.
